How do they not know how to find games on the Xbox UI. It is labeled and shown on the front screen. It feels like they only turn it on after an update dink around and then turn if off. It is kind of embarrassing really.
I just don't think they even care to try at this point. Alex tried to say something nice about the UI and backed off as fast as he possibly could as soon as everyone chimed in. And then there's Dan, who doesn't know how to find My Games and Apps. Turn on the Xbox, take your controller and move down once, and there you are.
This comes up so often when they talk about the Xbox One. I've been using the HDMI in on the Xbox One since day 1 and I really hope they never get rid of it. Matter of fact, go ahead and add 1 or 2 more just for fun, each with their own tile in the UI.
Hachi machi, the console versions seem busted. I've had no gamebreaking bugs in 50 hours on PC, though I have spied the odd t-pose here and there. But nothing nearly as drastic as Brad's describing.
Nope. Been playing on Xbox One and I've had very few glitches. May be PS4, may just be bad luck. Probably bad luck. Clearly the game is capable of some awful animation and scripting problems, which probably wouldn't be tied to a particular system?
Anywho, beautiful game, fun combat, bad story and dialogue, some bugs. This game doesn't live up to the ME name.
Mike Mahardy really came into his own in the past few months. I remember his early appearances on the Lobby were very still and muted but it's great to see him finally hit his stride at GameSpot.
Mass Effect Andromeda: We've Pretty Much Made Up Our Minds On It Already
Indeed. I listened completely dumbfounded as they discussed Mass Effect Andromeda. Brad said something like "I'm still going to give the game a chance" as if they were responding to dozens of bad reviews instead of one person who never played Mass Effect and didn't like a lot of stuff in the early game that sounds like Mass Effect.
Also, did someone tell Peter Brown this was a spoiler cast? Either he was spoiling things or asking if he could spoil things.
