If they do Quest content again the better way to capture a feed from it (albeit one that will be formatted to fit VR, not a normal 2D display) is enabling developer options and adb debugging on the headset itself, and then connecting it to a computer and using a program called scrcpy to mirror the content. Adds a cable but better than this, for sure.

also, anyone saying under $100M is either insane or deluded. only way it opens lower is if it turns out that every single actor involved killed someone. and even then that's a maybe.

who knows. it seemed like it could've been as high as $150M just a few days ago based on the fact that early critic impressions were very positive. but almost every critic impression since has been very negative, so it's all up in the air. official tracking puts it at $110M, but I think that's undershooting it. 120s seems more likely, so I guess $126M. (shrug)

@sedrick: it's a cut down version of a game running at a lower fidelity released over a year later and at a higher price than it should. it's really only a step or two above what the wii was getting, especially in the later years when activision started porting old CoDs to it.

It's tracking to be between $110M and $120M. I'll go on the high end of that, $120M, since we're coming off of a long drought at the box office.

I found the Clockwork Mansion disappointing back when I played the game at release. Being a stealth player, the clockwork soldiers and layout of the level was far more punishing than if I had just gone high chaos. Plus, in terms of level design I just felt levels like the Conservatory were way more enjoyable and fun to explore. I felt like I was always seeing new stuff in those levels, whereas in the Clockwork Mansion it was the same gimmick that didn't seem to have much gameplay relevance--in most rooms, changing the layout may have changed some furniture but didn't do much to change the structure or feel of the room.

I also didn't really enjoy A Crack in Time, the other "out-there" level in the game, fwiw.

The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew are ghost written. When I was in elementary school, the author of the (then) most recent Hardy Boys books came in and basically went "yeah that name on the cover is a lie."

In hindsight, was kinda weird of them to let that guy get booked to give presentations at schools.
