My dad's buying me a plane ticket so I can go on leave in mid January. Other than that I'll be happy just to spend time with my girlfriend out here. I'm probably going to get here a Kindle Fire HD because I love mine and I think it's a great tablet for people who don't really think they want / need a tablet.

Easily my three favorites of all time.

I've been enjoying Angry Birds Star Wars HD on the Kindle Fire HD. Fun game, well worth the $4-5 (whatever I paid for it...don't even remember, just saw Angry Birds and hit purchase). Bad Piggies was fun at first but it started to get pretty frustrating because I usually don't have the time to devote to trying to figure out a level. I play Angry Birds in very short bursts, and it's good like that.

I really like Atlas Shrugged. It's long, but very interesting. I'd say more interesting than exciting, don't expect it to be a page turner. It's worth it though, especially if you enjoy the movies.

In the Plex (about Google) is rather interesting, as is The Accidental Billionaires (though it's not incredibly well written) which is the book The Social Network is based on.

As for biographies I loved iWoz (Steve Wozniak) and Steve Jobs.

A few cans of Rockstar Punched (or NOS) and some music will sometimes do the trick...Or get me all energized enough to distract myself further by watching YouTube / Giant Bomb.

So I've been liking the forums here and have finally started to interact with the community...only to be silenced by the 5 post a day limit for new users! Darn it!!! LOL. So I'm at 8 posts right now, so I need 17 more....so 4 days until I'm fully unleashed. OH well.

Madden never wins GOTY. Madden 13 and FIFA 13 were pretty amazing this year, I think they deserve top 10 consideration. NBA 2k13 too. Otherwise I think Dishonored will be overlooked. Any other year it'd probably win, but it's not going to compete with Black Ops II and Halo 4 (or Assassin's Creed III even).
