Okay i know this might turn into a pissing contest but people should be worried about the limitations of the XO.

1. Let me make it clear this is not a hate thread or ps4 > XO thread its simply a list of my concerns for this console.

2. I get the point that most console players don't care too much about graphics because if we did we wouldn't wait 8 years for another console we would simply just upgrade our pc but still when you buy something you expect it to be the best of the best and it really sucks when you're going to put down half a grand for a console that at launch is weaker.(Maybe the whole cloud computing can give it extra strength)

3. The big concern of mine is that developers will have a hard time developing with the limited power of XO and we will stop getting new IP because the game asks for more than a console can deliver. This is honestly my only concern with XO, I mean they are able to get 1080p on some games so it does have the hardware for it, its just more complex to develop for.

4. I know ill probably get some hate but i am interested in the kinect. Not motion gaming but the kinect seems like a cool thing if it works the way its supposed to. I would then no longer need a controller to watch tv and scrolling through channels would be improved drastically but if it doesn't do what they are promising then i will have a major problem.

Depends how much money you have. Ebay will be selling consoles but they will be for about 800$ and some may be scams. There's always a chance of camping out. If you camp out at less obvious places like Kmart or sears you might find one, still i would call ahead of time to see if they have any extra consoles. OH i heard walmart just opened pre-orders for december 16! So i would check with them!

@marc: its tough converting to next-fen when good games will come out every like 3-4 months -.- I think I'm going to get killzone

Let me clarify when i mean hurting games i mean that some companies are changing their games in order to try and make them yearly franchises. Like resident evil that went from a great survival horror game to a generic shooter, i know those games bring in massive amounts of money but when i think hurting the industry is games are almost no longer allowed to make one great story but more about setting up a franchise.

Do you think yearly franchises are hurting the gaming industry? I mean games like assassins creed were so much fun until you got burned out with the same sub-par game like three years in a row and COD was also insanely fun but there comes a time were you just burn out. I mean the new batman game while i felt it had enough new improvements and a fun story many reviewers criticized it harshly for being too similar to its predecessor. How come that game gets a tough review while games like assassins creed and COD get good reviews even though have the same fault?

Arkham origins isn't on the ps4 sorry dude. So if i were you i would get AC4 for the ps4 because well to be honest launch lineups are never amazing so you need some game to play right?

@wickedfather: i usually prefer more story based games but since it's a console launch getting a game i can beat in one weekend and then have to wait months for another good game like that to come out is pretty bad at least with shooters the online will bring me back for months until the big games start rolling out
