I found 'Dirty' Dan's presence was surprisingly refreshing especially providing both a layman viewpoint as well as the 'Dan' perspective. Not to mention the chemistry between the Dans is always on point. Obviously Drew/Dan combo is the way to go but the odd special guest does help mix things up. I would one day like to see a Jeff version, that would be a sight to see.
@captainthunderpants: or here's a wild idea: Don't go crazy on the project budget rather than compromise the game balance to nickel and dime the customer.
@benmo316: Pretty much a red flag for me too. These micro transactions throw off the balance of Warzone just by the fact that those that purchase the cards get a 3-4 game head start over those that have to grind the points to purchase that card. Therefore in a lot of cases I can see instances where the team with the least 'freelaoders' will have an armament advantage.
@the_spaz_rises: Shame about the lack of split-screen, I'm sure there are genuine technical limitations that are preventing it from being implemented, but also it gets me thinking how the Timesplitters series managed 4 player split screen, with bots while still running at mostly 60fps 15 years ago.
@ferenz: I find jeff or brad's apprehension to new titles quite refreshing in this day and age where 'hype' has become a cliche meme and almost every preview can be summed up as 'it's shaping up to be pretty good'
For some reason, I'm getting really bored with super tightly orchestrated, balletic fight scenes. That opening and the one ~20 minutes in did nothing for me apart from the nice snow/lighting effects.
Gameplay looks like Halo though and the structure seems interesting so cool~
Yeah, I had a similar feeling. In some instances (like in certain Anime or Action games like Bayonetta), this sort of OTT flipping/shooting choreography makes sense. However it seems so out of place in Halo and made that sequence look a little too cartoonish compared to how the game plays.
