I've been emulating a lot of stuff lately, got close to 30,000 ROMs, but I can't wait 'til I'm earning money and can start buying actual hardware. I hope it's not all gone or too much more expensive by the time I can actually afford it.

Owning a Hyper Fighting arcade cabinet is on my bucket list. Also, that Missile Command art is pretty great.

my local movie theater (this is what we have instead of arcades) has maybe 7 games tops

Someone recently sent in a bunch of arcade boards. So these can all fit in a few large plastic tubs. I they play a few of them on the most recent UPF.

Man, I shoved so many coins into the Aliens arcade machine as a kid. I love how bonkers, totally-not-like-the-movie that game can get.

Well obviously there needs to an Encyclopedia Bombastica for Ultra Balloon. I am assuming all the boards on this list still work. I think Jeff recently mentioned his Street Fighter Alpha 2 board was toast.

That Aliens Arcade game was amazing at the time (possibly rose colored glasses on here). I would love to see that on the show sometime.

I never played Aliens, but I LOVED the sequel(I think) brawler that had 4 characters, 2 humans and 2 predators.

Dude get Tapper. It's so fun.

Jam and D&D and you're good. I'd like to have Joust (table version), Xenophobe (I wish they'd finished all the other weird puzzle stuff they'd planned at the start), Road Blasters, APB, Golden Axe, and especially Xybots.

Also, fun fact: I went to my local MMA/Boxing gym, and suddenly, the Street Fighter Alpha 3 soundtrack starts playing over their stereo setup. I should go there more often.

i have a 4 player MAME cab and NBA Jam TE still gets a ton of play. It is easily one of the best 4 player games of all time. Price is stupid from 3 though. I have 8 arcade cabs and made most of them multis because I don't really have space for dedicated cabinets. 4p mame, Neo Geo, jamma candy sit down, MK cab with an x360 in it, Vertical/rotary Mame 2p cab. Nintendo cab with a NES in it, defender, and 2p Super GT. Anyone like me who grew up with arcade games and still likes them should have a MAME cabinet. It is a ton of fun.

Ok, that's an awesome list. Would love to own NBA Jam and Smash TV.

You can see for yourself but it appears to run at a higher framerate and has better sounds / sprites than what I remember of the SNES version. It also seems like it has 4 player support!

That's an odd mix of games you have there, but you really do need a Ms. Pacman of some type.

Super jealous that you own an Aliens arcade machine( I'm assuming that's the case). That was one of my favorite arcade games and I haven't played it in twenty plus years. Yeah, I could use MAME, but it wouldn't be the same.
