I love me some LP Archive action. Sure, I started on Boatmurdered like most everybody who started flirting with Dwarf Fortress, but then I began to delve into all of the JRPGs that I realistically will never finish. Then I found this gem. I don't usually share this sort of thing, but I would recommend this (incredibly long) series of posts for those of you who would like to experience the What the Christery of this game without having to play through it.

NOTE: This is copy pasta from our actual blog.

On this crisp, clear edition of the Onboard NIC Crew, we get directly to the bottom of Mobile World Congress (not Conference), attempt to comprehend the mindflaying insanity that is a Start Button-less Windows OS, and debut the exciting new feature, "What's That App?" Lauren also returns after a long and lonely exile to lure away Sean and Auston, like a succubus, to a local Arby's. There's also a bit where Jeff bought a Gameboy Micro, and was then cut off when gremlins carried him away from his computer and gave him a stern talking to about wasting his money. It got crazy. Hell, considering how generally incompetent the management is, it's amazing that you're even reading this.

Impressed by our chops? Like us on the iTunes, or the Facebook! Wanna tell us we suck and stuff? Yell at us on the Twitter (@onboardnic), or write us an email like a senior citizen (onboardniccrew@gmail.com). We love listener questions, especially dumb ones!

Either Minecraft, Okami (Wii), or Rhythm Heaven Fever.

Meh, I find it all right. If you really locked yourself into just a destruction build you're a bit of a berk.

Totally agree with this. I like to think of Destruction magic for my wizard character as the last resort, the oh shit option. There are dozens of other, more effective spells for taking down enemies (en masse at times) without having to resort to fireballs. Playing through Skyrim with Destruction as your only mode of damage dealing just sounds dull.

Myself and a few friends have managed to start and maintain a bi-weekly podcast called The Onboard NIC Crew. We all did undergrad together...in fact, those two are still finishing out their undergrad degrees in Computer Science. I'm working on an MA in International Relations. How is this pertinent? We all worked at the same IT shop for the last four years, and those two have done some Android development work. I'm now a registered Windows Phone developer myself. We tend to pick up new gadgets and games, and talk shop about things that are good and things that suck. It's a fun thing to do, and I'd like to share it with you guys.

"Alright," you're saying, "How would I go about listening to this show?" Any number of ways really.

"But why aren't you on Zune Marketplace," you ask? I submitted our show several weeks ago. In the near future I will be writing a post about getting a podcast on Zune; needless to say it involves eldritch magick and a lot of patience. You can manually add us to Zune by dumping the RSS feed into the Add a Podcast section.

It sorta goes with saying that getting some feedback on iTunes could really help us out, so it would be greatly appreciated if you guys to put some honest opinions of the show up on there. We'd also be happy to answer questions or read complaints during the show; send them to onboardniccrew at gmail.com, or Tweet them to us@onboardnic. Enjoy.

“This is exactly the type of property we’re looking to adapt at Lionsgate: it’s sophisticated, edgy, and a true elevation of a genre that we know and love. It also has built in brand recognition around the world, and franchise potential.”

"franchise potential."

Yay, another franchise to milk! I was thinking there'd never be another video game franchise to wring dry of any vitality it had to start. Thank you, Lionsgate Film.

Imagine a hellish scenario where Ryan Gosling's character in Drive is instead portrayed by Bobby Kotick. I'd go see that tonight if they made it.

It's hard to imagine a television outfit put this much thought into a video game. Granted we're talking about a state-sponsored station, but at the same time I couldn't envision a world where PBS (or NBC) put out a Flash game dealing with the metaphysics of death. Most heinous article.
