@marc: Were you in the Justin TV (I think it was) Chat when we were waiting for the site to go up? Hell of a good time we all had in there. Mostly quoting The Dark Knight as I recall...
@mosaicm80: Damn near everyone is "new here" to me, I signed up a minute or so after launch...I feel old :/. I'm going to go and read some stuff about Bomb Should Have A Face to relive my wayward youth.
@rvone: Are you new here? Jeff was trolling us with the question of whether BRAD AND VINNY worked for Giant Bomb back when the Wiki was just a twinkle in Dave Snider's eye. Trolling us about hires is a fucking TRADITION.
I do it three ways depending on the content. Most recorded stuff I watch through my TV's YouTube App. Free Live Streams I get through hitting the Twitch Channel on my TV's browser, and Premium ones I AirPlay to my Apple TV because there's some mad jank associated with getting the TV browser to play nice with the stream pages. I also sometimes AirPlay archive stuff rom the Video Buddy App because it's easier to get at old stuff that way. Especially now with custom lists. Just today I finished a bender of watching all the Game Room Quick looks I'd started by putting them in a Video Buddy List. NOTHING stops the Game Room Quick Look.
Ah come on guys, we all know it's Matt Kessler and Tom Kline. Wait I'm just being passed a note and...Hmmm. It says BSHAF Sucks. Why you gotta hurt me, guys?
Man it sounds like these guys should fire whoever made the trailers, because if this movie is as good as everyone says it is, those guys really screwed up. They make it look like pseudo-high-concept schlock with an inflated opinion of its own sense of humour, and I'm more than inclined to believe the overwhelming majority of opinions from watchers that it's not like that at all.
The dearth of racing games, especially on new hardware, is starting to tick me off. I'm going to pick up Driveclub and The Crew, but it's kind of ridiculous that it will have been nearly a year since getting Need for Speed Rivals at launch that another racing game finally becomes available to me on that hardware. I was super bummed out that GRiD Autosport was last gen only. Hell at one point I was actively hoping that at E3 Sony would announce (for PS4) one of those quickie cash-in Gran Turismo sidesteps they used to love. Of course the blame for this lies squarely on the middle period of the last generation when the racing game market was saturated with also-rans like blur, squeezing out sales from other, better racing games and effectively dropping the bottom out the market.
I've been sinking a lot of time into the Explore Activity because it's theoretically infinite and you get lots of changes of pace and a lot of environments to play in. It's cool to bump in to other Guardians too, makes this game feel a lot less empty than, say, Borderlands did solo.
