Like COD, it's almost become a sports game at this point. The same assets from 2 are just being iterated on, with a new story, location and a few new mechanics to justify it being a new game. Not to say that it's bad, I always enjoy the AC games because I really like the premise.
I want to apologize for inciting any sort of argument with one small quip. It was not my intention, nor is it the time nor the place. Wish the best to those at VT, and the guy's family.
Really? Do you enjoy your computer? Because I can guarantee without America you would be missing some key components.
I'm not going to have an argument about patriotism in this thread.
What I posted had nothing to do with Patriotism...
You're attributing technological advancement to a country and not humanity in general. But this is completely off-topic. Let's just drop it.
You're attributing violent human nature to a country and not humanity. You can't just say something bigoted, then expect it to be ignored by saying "drop it".
I'm not attributing violence to America, nor am I a bigot. In fact, the words of my original post were the words of one Matthew Rorie on Twitter a couple days ago, describing this. However, I do think that certain parts of America do boast their right to bear arms more than any other Western nation, and it causes issues on a national level when trying to regulate weapons.
@punkxblaze: You're right, they don't just happen in America. But as I recall, the worst school shooting in modern history happened just a few years ago at the very same school, and the guy was able to obtain guns completely legally, despite a documented past of mental problems. I'm interested in seeing how this new guy got the guns.
