I'm really excited for this game for what it is (or what it could be), but the concept of being online with 3 friends just doesn't match anymore with my life I guess. When you're 30ish with a busy career, wife and other hobbies gaming just sort of becomes an unplanned thing for when a window of opportunity arises.
It would be great to get a motley crew together for adventures but in the end I feel like it might just become a 'that guy couldn't make it, try next week or a random?' thing - and that it then just sort of ends up being 50% of the experience. That makes me sad :(
Also, the only thing I don't really like so far is the flickering picture of whoever is talking while in the base. That looks a bit early 2000's to me in terms of design. Looks terrible, actually.
Well, if that is all, I suppose I ought to shut up...
I also really loved the editing. To me it feels like fan service. I love me some SpaceVinny, but there's just no need to OCD on witnessing every microsecond of footage. I didn't feel like missing out on anything at all.
