My Sega CD Collection

When I was younger I had a Sega Cd... since those days I have lost track of the games I owned for it.  This is a list of the games that I have been recently acquiring as part of my newfound love for collecting Sega CD games.

List items

  • This is the game that stuck with me throughout my childhood. There were severe scratches on the copy I bought from Blockbuster, so whenever I managed to make it somewhat far into the game it would freeze up. Years ago I got a mint condition copy and have finally beaten it!

  • This game is notorious for being played well into 5am one morning. I remember watching my brother play it as we lied down trying to stay awake. At 5am we heard our dad get up for work and thought "oh... shit."

  • Recently purchased off of eBay in good condition... not sure why.

  • See: Jeopardy.

  • I rented this from Blockbuster when I was a kid. I kept the manual and still have it to this day, it even has some passwords in the "notes" section that I jotted down. I recently purchased a complete boxed copy in decent condition. This game didn't come in the regular tall plastic cases like other Sega CD games, it was one of the cardboard cases that houses a jewel case.

  • I really don't know much about this game, but I do know it comes in a weird cardboard case that is the size of a regular CD case. No idea if it originally comes in different packaging with instructions or not (please let me know if you know for sure!). The CD itself is a fully playable soundtrack, I already ripped it to my PC and it sounds pretty good!

  • This is one that I rented and thoroughly enjoyed. If I recall correctly it was a decent side-scroller with an awesome title song and some sweet animated cut scenes. I'll have to give this one another try now that I own it.

  • Another awesome FMV game. I'm pretty sure I rented this as a kid, but I really can't remember.
