Has anyone noticed that the last few bombcasts have lacked flow? seems like a lot of the podcast is people either fighting to get their 2 cents in or people trying to let someone else talk. Ive liked the new voices on the podcast but seems like they arent clicking yet.
Right now I'm playing on the default difficulty and it's been really good time challenging but not so much where I feel like the game is cheating me.
The thing that has been bothering me is the machine population density.
I get into a fight with one group or one machine and then it snowballs into fighting 9 different machines at once. In a later game area I tried to just ride past all of the enemies but they caught up to me and I ended up fighting a ton of machines. I was able to work around it considering I was over leveled for the area but it was pretty difficult and frustrating to deal with. Am I the only one who feels this way or do I just need to get gud?
Slight horizon zero Dawn spoilers. I've been playing through Horizon Zero Dawn on PC for the first time and have been loving it. After 28 hours in ran into a dungeon segment (Cauldron XI) that I hated.
What made it bad for me was that it was do long and combat heavy in a tight confined space that after room 2-3 I felt done but it felt like it had 8 different rooms of combat.
It blew me away how much I didn't like it and had to stop playing for a bit. I have played a little more after but it's still kinda haunting me.
Had anyone else had an experience like this in a game they really liked?
I was curious to ask if any of the controller features on games that are on both pc and ps5 work on pc. if not is the ps5 controller good enough to still use?
I feel like the xbox controllers arent sturdy cause the charging port always breaks on me cause I only connect through the usb. thanks for any insight!
So I got it and went through the first our and i have initial thoughts
The movement is terrible on 60fps. It's the first game that I actually feel a huge difference going from 120 to 60. It was like night and day. Couldn't imagine playing on 30. I don't mind slow, I liked the rdr2 movement. Getting on a horse in this game feels wrong after rdr2.
Its a good looking game but looks 4 years old. Again RDR2 did some stuff imo.
I'm excited for some mass effectish type of fighting potential
I'm excited for this tho as far as open world botw is 1 and RDR2 is 1A imo. I'd be really surprised if it made that level but I'm gonna be super glad if it does.
steam is having a sale for the witcher 3 for 15 bucks and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger. I want a open worldish adventure game but the style isnt my favorite. it seems to lean more toward the elder scrolls side than it does the fable side. I kind of think that since I havent touched it in the 4 years its been out I shouldnt but hearing such praise about it always made me think twice. I could just go with horizon but I rather not have to dig out my launch ps4 and play something on pc.
