Just to reiterate, KIDDING. I disagree with most of what Jeff says, but I ultimately don't give a shit. Christ, I was thinking the blisteringly hyperbolic text would've made this clear enough.
The only time I was just straight offended by the opinion of a GB crew member was during the PAX East 2012 panel where Patrick and Alex were talking about Aliens, and Alex said that Patrick liked Alien more than Aliens because he's an "intelligent human being".
My wish would just be to put on Company at my high school, and have me play Bobby.
Company's the best fucking musical ever god damn made. And (or maybe because?) it's got sex and drinking and a pot-smoking scene in it, so essentially it's never going to be put on at my school. But damn it, I'm dying and I want to put on a musical.
Okay, what in the holy hell. Maybe this isn't real. That would be entirely surprising to hear that Microsoft is in fact NOT coming out with a new Killer Instinct, Crackdown, or Banjo-Kazooie. But...what if it IS real?
The only thing that betrays this to me personally as being fake would probably be the Prey 2 listing. If that game did recently change hands like the rumor mill has reported, why would they be showing it again this sudden?
Also, the League of Legends thing sounds totally plausible. That sounds like the sort of exclusive that Microsoft would be itching to throw money at. With what happened with Minecraft, it's not a situation without precedent, and that precedent in question did fucking gangbusters sales-wise. So I can absolutely believe that.
Anyway, I would just love the shit out of a new Crackdown. That's it. So I hope this is real.
Jeff hates Red Dead? Alright, it's one of my favorite games of this gen, but whatever, to each his own. Jeff hates the movie Aliens? Alright, you're losing me, I gotta admit, but whatever...I can understand someone disliking that movie.
But...this? This is over the line. OVER THE FUCKING LINE.
