55:20 is where the Street Fighter V discussion ends if you don't care about that game. You won't miss any good goofs. Just a long ass technical discussion with a few minutes of SF lore mixed in.
I totally get that Jason and Dan are friends and I give my friends shit all the time. It's just mentally repulsive to see Dan go full heel sometimes regardless of me knowing he means it in good fun and that is the reaction he wants. He seems tough to handle in large doses even for the people around him. I recall Jeff saying the people at GI thanked him for taking him off their hands lol. Sometimes it's great like in Mario Party but other times I can't stand it like his periscope videos when he was watching Patrick play his levels. He was so proud of himself for beating a level he completely designed and called Patrick and idiot, ugly, dumb etc etc every 5 seconds because he didn't know the stupid poorly designed 50 steps Dan put into the level that required it to be completed. I say all this knowing he is doing it to make people angry and it still works despite that. I hope Newdan at least cuts back on the douche baginess a little here and there but I won't deny the unique zaniness he brings to the site.
I have still not finished the game but I got through that level not long ago where you have to go through the quarantine platform murdering all your infected men. It was such a down moment and I knew that I had to do it to save the world from infection but it was just tearing me up even though it was just a game. It came to a huge point where you come to the room where the men all stand up and salute you and the music is playing and they are just so loyal and believe in you completely that they know dying must be the right thing to do. I just started crying (super rare for me in a game, can't recall last time) and shooting them standing there. It just got harder and harder to keep killing the next soldier. Soldiers I had recruited. It probably helped I was slightly intoxicated but it just really hit hard.
