Wow, how video games have changed since 1998. I'm playing Starcraft again and what a blast from the past this game is! Terrible pathfinding, atrocious, super-low res graphics, and one annoying, looping midi soundtrack. I understand that the balance and intricacies of Starcraft are entirely unparalleled, but the game is just aged. Watching videos of the Starcraft 2 beta, they've just improved the game in every regard - automated mineral collection, setting rally points to troops, idle worker notifications. Just everything is brought up to current-gen.
 
But still, I gotta get pro, and getting pro involves playing hideously old games just because they still get played at tournaments. First up - completing a Protoss game without hearing the words "Construct additional pylons!" Wish me luck!

Ah, the classic dilemma. Do you play the clearly superior game (Bad Company 2), or do you stick with the frustrating, unbalanced, dated P2P connectivity game that your friends are playing? Battlefield is clearly the superior game, but MW2 is still the flavor of the season. I guess when it comes down to it, a good laugh and some ingame camaraderie beats out not being frustrated out of your mind at yet another death to the painkiller, danger close corner-camping asshat with the RPG. Props to Jeff and Vinny for bringing that sort of camaraderie to the Deadly Premonition endurance run. Making a terrible game brilliant.
 
Also, this achievement better work. I'm not writing blogs about video games for my health! I'm doing it for the S-RANK yeeeeeah
