Michael in witness protection. What does he know? Reminds me of Delocated.

I've tried to pick up and go with Bloodborne probably 2-3 times but this series is really fulfilling for me so thanks to Jan for a great series - also want to say having Tam on this episode was great. Wasn't aware of what Gamespot Universe was but knowing they do Westworld breakdowns I'm definitely subbing - early quarantine days got me to go back through S2 of WW and S3 has been intense so far.

Awesome stream. Loved the Drew Scanlon call out/song - but the end bit with Griffin was great, expecting my first boy here in August so good to know that Behemoth games and Fez are good options. Thank you Jason!

@fireburger: I've been enjoying it - it's actually the first since Advanced Warfare where I really am having a decent time in multiplayer. I can agree that the campaign is pretty standard stuff, but for me it's a nice refresh having not been in a game like this in a very long time. I'm not far into the campaign yet but I would like to see the hopping around to different soldiers/fronts make a comeback, but overall I think if you like COD you'll find this one being pretty decent, Jeff was just looking for something fairly specific and this wasn't it - I however was looking for a good WWII game, and this fits the bill. I can't say I'll hang on for a super long time before moving on to backlog stuff, but I can see Jeff's points too and ultimately idk if this will carry me into the new year with Star Wars, Wolfenstein, Divinity, Shadow of WAr, etc. waiting for me to get more time in them.

"And baby makes 3 stars"

Rorie called it on UPF.

Honestly though, I was expecting this kind of score from Jeff(and agree with it) because the game is just missing that greatness factor. I had fun with the beta and oddly enough the gameplay and open-ended method to tackling a mission or base reminded me of MGSV of all games. I just wish Wildlands had a dive button and a few other cool features MGSV had(like fulton balloons). I'm probably going to pick this up on sale and treat it like playing side missions in MGSV, because I felt myself going back to the beta for a good while. Maybe continued updates will make the game better.

I totally get the conflict Jeff described though - it feels like it wants to go wacky, but then grounds itself. MGS pulled the wacky off pretty well where Ghost Recon isn't a series I really associate with anything close to that. If they would've just leaned into some of that stuff all the way, I think they'd have a better game. But I think Jeff's opening statement nails my feeling on the game too - I liked the beta as well, but it's a great game to hop in mindlessly and go around in, but there are also way better games in my opinion to do so in; Destiny for example - even The Division does it a little better in my opinion.

@raikoh05: it's been pretty standard for shooters. COD and BF4 in particular - BF seems (to me) to justify their pass pretty well as the maps are always huge, and I personally like the big mix up that comes when a new map comes out. They also usually bring some new weapons and vehicles as some flare.

@mmarsu I don't get how stating what comes in a season pass objectively is defending it. 4 maps per expansion, more weapons and vehicles, cosmetics and other stuff is what you get for $50 - if you don't like the deal don't take it. Typically the people that buy the season pass will play the game over the course of the next year fairly consistently. God forbid someone likes something you don't, even if they have to pay a company like EA for it.
