I recall them saying they're ripping out Battlelog as a website and putting it into the games (finally) so I assume those icons on the left are to jump to different titles quickly?
Thanks for the comments folks - it was a weird day of reflection, thinking about if I should, or how I would pull down 2 years of work for preservation before they totally rip it all down anyway. Maybe I'll add my reviews back into the site here for user reviews, who knows - I appreciate all the nice supportive messages. I'll definitely be just fine, as I've got a full-time job and a clear career path that I'm absolutely jacked about - but who knows, maybe the PR guys and gals will be nice and still float me a few preview codes or something but I won't count on it. I definitely am no Klepek or Schreier in the lens of ability or reach, but hey, I'll always have my games.
@engineno9: good point and thanks for bringing that up - I just didn't expect the enemies to be uninterruptable while I could be stopped mid-strike. I had seen the disruption tree but was investing in other areas because while I know I read the description and knew what it would do, for some reason it just never seemed that valuable to me. I wanted to pursue other areas and it felt like they tried to pull of what you said by making it a perk or ability to hone, but in the end it felt like a "artistic/mechanic" design that didn't translate well.
Thanks for reading and the comment, much appreciated!!
Wow - seeing nothing but glowing reviews for this. Can't say it struck a huge chord with me initially but it's hard to deny the reviews so far. May have to pick it up if I don't buy more games I don't need in this Steam sale. Thanks Brad, great review!
@danryckert: The song House walked out to is Dvorak Symphony 9 but a specific part from it. Definitely in Looney Tunes at some point but I'd be shocked if John Williams didn't take inspiration from this for Star Wars and Indy.
I'LL TAKE A MEDIUM MILLER...that came out...just as planned.
Great show though - went from genuinely fascinating with Spencer to totally off-topic and funny but entertaining the whole time. For a four hour show it flew by.
I loved Gwent but sweet jesus do we need more card games? Elder Scrolls, Gwent, Hearthstone, and those are just the big ones. I think we might have to put CCG's on the "Please stop" for GOTY
