I hate to break it to ya Jeff and Brad, but Resident Evil Resistance actually did quite well and is still played and supported today. So in the case of the Resident Evil 3 Remake, the attached multiplayer game worked out for Capcom.
What is your source for it doing quite well? Because according to Steam Charts, a tiny minority of people who bought the game even tried it and this month its peak is barely over 200 players.
Once again, props to the whole crew. A lot of years somebody will get targeted for being "too aggressive" or something, and then the rest of the crew never get the praise they deserve. This year everybody brought a good atmosphere and interesting thoughts. I liked that they were largely considerate of how each other felt. And when they did knife each other's picks, they managed to be funny about it.

I'm just dropping in to reiterate that I'm really enjoying the format and deliberations this year. The return of categories is great; the structure clearly works well for the staff. Also there has been a good mixture of people hearing each other out and playful fighting. Altogether this has been a real pleasure to listen to while I recover from some health stuff.
I'm so glad categories are back, even if they're two categories a day. Also while I'm sorry to see some people leave the site, having the table size be smaller definitely leads to less overtalk. Really digging these deliberations so far.
I'm glad Mike pushed back on the double standard of it being fine to adapt a novel faithfully, but the crew was so negative on the idea of faithfully adapting Last of Us.
A Last of Us TV show isn't for people who are tired of zombie stuff. It's for people who loved the game and would like to see it adapted, and for people who consume TV more than they play games and haven't played this.
