First I think this is an awesome idea. 8-4 needs more love and cool shit like this. Second I like @christaran's idea. Using one of those pics above for Jango each time.
So I love Fire Emblem. I played a good chunk of the Gamecube one, but REALLY got into the series with Awakening. And while I'm unbelievably excited to play Fates, I now finally accept that I have absolutely NO idea how to play Fates. Like, which one do I start with? How does it all fit together? Is there some order that I'm not picking up on? I just don't know. I may just be an idiot and not able to pick up on it, but if anyone can help me understand it would be super appreciated.
Bummer, Leigh has been one of my favorite writers for a while now. That being said I know she's gonna do great in whatever she does. That woman has drive like very few in this biz do.
I'm with you on loving just the metric ton of announcements that happen on that big press conference day. It's always just been so fun to be overloaded like that. That being said, I don't think I'd be real surprised or even that broken up if it didn't happen. Honestly the biggest bummer for me would be losing GB's E3 press conference streams and late night shows.
Watch The Sopranos, The Wire, Justified, The Wire, X-Files, The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Wire, and The Wire. That should just about cover it. Oh I worry I forgot to mention The Wire. Watch The Wire.
This is a rough list, not set on the ordering and there are still a few movies I need to see before I finalize everything, but...
1.) Creed
2.) Mad Max: Fury Road
3.) Tangerine
4.) The Duke of Burgundy
5.) Straight Outta Compton
6.) Magic Mike XXL
7.) The Diary of a Teenage Girl
8.) Inside Out
9.) Ex-Machina
10.) Bone Tomahawk
That's with me already having to cut some movies I love; Bridge of Spies, It Follows, Ant-Man, The Martian, among others. Overall a pretty great year for film, not as jam-packed with greatness as 2013/2014, but pretty close.
