Gamescom 2022 will unveil new information for Minecraft Legends and Sega's Sonic Frontiers and could reveal more details about Modern Warfare 2 and Bethesda's Space RPG that is coming out Starfield. You can still view the live stream of the opening night hosted by Geoff Keighley from your computer, even though it's the first Gamescom live since 2019. Here's how you can watch Gamescom 2022.
Gamescom 2022 kicks off August 23, and if you're in the UK, it begins at 7PM, with viewers who live on the US East Coast able to watch at 2PM, and those who are on PT can begin at 11AM.
The most important, confirmed information is the release of more details and hopefully more gameplay footage from Sonic Frontiers. But host Geoff Keighley also confirmed that the Gamescom Opening Show will include "30+ Games" which means it's possible that 2022's biggest games and 2023's will also be teased.
Call of Duty: Vanguard was released with a brand new gameplay trailer during last year's event. Modern Warfare 2 seems to be a promising option this year. The official Game Awards YouTube channel and Twitch channels will stream the opening ceremony live. strongcraft Along with the above dates, it might be worth tuning in half an hour early, as the previous events have featured an opening show that, sometimes, includes announcements and new gameplay footage. If you're thinking of making the trip to Cologne, Germany, and watching Gamescom in person, you can purchase tickets from the event's official website. Xbox will have its own stream during Gamescom where it is expected to show Minecraft Legends and A Plague Tale : Requiem. You can stream that on any of the Xbox social channels including YouTube.
