Is it because I'm not American and so I live in a country where gay people have equal enough rights that it isn't a politically-charged issue that I find it strange? I don't know. Odd.
Fantastic comment until the xenophobic nonsense that's quite clearly coming from the position of someone who's perception of America is shaped exclusively by the movie Deliverance. Massachusetts legalized gay marriage over a decade ago; San Francisco is arguably the most gay-friendly city in the world. America isn't a single gun-toting, bible-thumping entity.
