Let me guess, you play zerg? These are great, do you use something like ZBrush for this stuff?

I think you should render these out at a high resolution for fans of Starcraft to use as wallpapers, that would be great.

Rally is the most fun part of Dirt 3 for me, but gymkhana is great as well. I played it with a gamepad and it was fairly easy really (to win at least). Since I started to play with a wheel and using the hood camera, it has gotten way tougher. I think it's more due to the camera than the wheel, since not seeing where the wheels are make things like drifting more difficult.

It's a superb diversion from all the other events, makes things feel fresh since you have to play completely differently from the other modes.

I try to drive as fast as possible with as little damage as possible. Usually I get away with just a few scrapes or no damage at all, it doesn't always go that way though. I'm not sure how much the damage done impacts the grade you get at the end of the case.

The Titan project is going to "kill" WoW in my opinion. Although that will be less of a killing and more of a migration.

Also, Harry Potter just doesn't lend itself well to an MMO, unless it's kid-focused. You don't need an amazing IP to beat WoW, you just need a MMO that changes up the formula dramatically. Even the people who play WoW now are getting fed up with it, and everyone I know who used to play in vanilla have now stopped. Guild Wars 2 probably won't be as big, but it will mark an interesting change in the MMO landscape. SWToR, on the other hand, looks kind of generic so far to me. I'm not sure whether it's just more of the same or if it does try to innovate.

Knowing Blizzard, Titan should be the perfect storm here: they'll be able to advertise it to everyone who plays WoW. Also, it's a Blizzard game, so almost everyone will instantly buy it anyway. But most importantly, I think they are trying to do something new with it and I am really excited to have a look at it sometime soon. Even though I like MMO's as a genre (social stuff is always more fun than being alone), they have gotten really stale and it is time to move away from the Everquest clones. With the current state of PC hardware, some really cool stuff can be done with them that simply wasn't possible a couple of years ago.

You should experiment with the deadzones in the game. Also, if your wheel has drivers, you should check out its options in windows and see what can be adjusted.

I also recommend playing with force feedback on, it is more difficult, but a lot more interesting with it on. You get used to it pretty quickly.

If you've got the hardware then PC - either with a controller or a wheel. Personally I prefer the wheel, makes it even more challenging and fun.

I think the gameplay of L.A. Noire really depends on how you look at it. I had little trouble picking the right answers in interviews and interrogations if I looked at the clues really carefully and thought about where the guy should fit in. The same goes for searching clues - you can go around mindlessly pressing A, or you can actually look around the environment and try to figure out what you should be checking out.

I had a great time trying to figure out things myself rather than waiting for the game to point me in the right direction. As for replay value, I agree that there is little of it, although I do want to replay some cases again. But then again, what is the value in watching a movie more than once? This is the same thing, it's not supposed to have replay value. Arguably, a lot of games could be way better if anyone wasn't so focused on putting in a half-baked multiplayer component just to make people buy their game rather than rent it.

I totally agree, in general when you're driving around the city, the only things that look good are the cars and people. Probably not enough horsepower was left for the environment. The textures could definitely be sharper, the framerate as well. The game would be much more immersive for me if it were.

@Random88: That was indeed a great satire of what the contest is.
