So since I managed to get some extra money, I thought about buying Resident Evil games and entering the series. The only RE game I've played is 4, which I absolutely loved, and is one of my favorite games to date. Other than that, I've not played any other ones. I wanted to ask for advice, since I'm looking for RE titles on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
I've been recommended to play the RE 1 remake and RE 5, and absolutely stay away from RE 6. I've seen that Revelations 1 and 2 are also available for these platforms, as well as Code Veronica.
So, any advice on entering this franchise? Which games should I buy?
Ok, I gotta say I'm kind of relieved now that I know that the story won't be much of a problem. But now that I think about it, I don't know much about the gameplay, so reading some of the comments has me doubting again.
Since Middle-Earth: SOM came out, I've only heard good things about the game. Hell, it's Giant Bomb's 2014 Game of the Year! Yet, I was never really interested in the game, since I'm not a LOTR at all. I've never read a single book, seen a single movie, or played any of the past games (somehow, the saga has never gotten my attention). But now, I'm growing more and more curious, since there's so many people saying I should play Shadow of Mordor.
So my question is: If I'm not a LOTR fan, and if I don't know anything about the universe, will I still enjoy the game? Will my ignorance make me feel lost with SOM's story? If so, should I pick up The Hobbit or something like that to get up to speed? Any comments or suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
So i've been playing ME2, just after finishing the first one. It got me really hyped since they did a lot of improvementes over ME1, and I'm enjoying the experience.
I've started to wonder wether I should get ME3 or not. I remember a couple years back when the game was released that a lot of people here were complaining about the "horrible ending". Leaving the ending issues aside, should I play ME3? At least for the sake of finishing the story?
So I've been thinking about picking up Borderlands 2, since I've been told it's a great game, and it's been a while since I played a decent shooter (Not a CoD or Halo fan). But I have not played the first Borderlands yet. Should I play the first one, or can I jump straight into the second one? Will I be missing something by skipping 1?
