Got it for $4.99 today for PS4, really solid Rhythm game that anybody into the genre should check out, especially for that price.

The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup

From the original creators of Conker's Bad Fur Day, comes a delicately told tale of a dog which thinks it's a toy, or is it a toy that thinks it's a dog?

Lost and alone in a richly detailed 2D world, you must help lead our sad pooch back home again......Just in time for Tea

https://www.ign.com/articles/burnout-studio-returns-to-take-the-need-for-speed-series-into-the-next-gen

I find this very interesting. For years I’ve been saying that ghost games just isn’t getting the job done with these games... rivals, reboot and payback didn’t do it for me in so many ways. So when I heard about NFS:Heat, I didn’t really have high hopes, but after playing for just a an hour or so, i knew that Ghost had finally made a very fun and exciting need for speed game. That game sucked me in and about 30 hours later, I walked away feeling very impressed with what ghost games did, including fun driving/turning controls, a story so laughably stupid that it was actually brilliant, and the entire feel of the game world felt so nice that I didn’t want to stop driving around it. Nothing was more intense than having a 5 star wanted level and your trying to sneak through the trees, dodging cops to make it to your safe house, knowing if you get caught you might lose all the xp you’ve earned. I now found myself looking forward to seeing what a Ghost Games , that finally figured their shit out, would do next, and I guess it’s a shame that we won’t see what that is. It’s hard not to be excited though to see what criterion will do with this franchise again, 2010 hot pursuit and 2012 most wanted were brilliant games. I know the article says criterion scaled down years ago and has mostly been a support studio, so I don’t know what they will look like as I assume they will be beefing back up due to their new project, but I’m optimistic that with the name Criterion, as a long time burnout fan/ fan of those couple NFS games they made, it will be something to be be excited about!

@sloppydetective: yeah I don’t think I ever wanted to like a game more in my life than I did with BOTW... I think it just might be games with that “explore and find your own way without us holding your hand” element just don’t click for me. I find myself overwhelmed and it detracts from my overall experience. I didn’t care for the breakable weapons as well. I had a similar experience with outer wilds. After seeing how much the GB staff loved it, I decided to give it a shot and after several hours of exploring a couple planets and not being remotely interested in anything I found, I couldn’t go on with that either. I actually had more fun using an achievement guide and trying to get those because at least that gave me a direct goal to work towards lol

breath of the wild for me. Have always loved the Zelda series and when I saw new console+ new mainline Zelda game, I was so excited. I knew right away something wasn’t right and about 5 hours, all my initial excitement was gone. I felt so bored and hated just having to walk around aimlessly.. I never find enjoyment or “wonder” in exploring big worlds with no real objective besides go to hyrule castle and beat the game. I tried it for about 15 hours and did one of the dungeons, just trying to convince myself that this game was good, but eventually I gave up. It sucks that I know I’m in the minority with this, but I hope they make a more traditional Zelda game again someday. Even the much hated skyward sword kept me engaged and I had enough fun to complete it. BOTW is my most disappointing game of the decade, and possibly of all time.

One of the best 8 hours of television I’ve watched in a long time. I rarely get into shows that aren’t starring George Lopez or Kevin James, but I guess I’m gonna have to add Henry cavill to that list.
