The Amiga games I remember most fondly from my childhood (and thus the Amiga games that you absolutely need to take a look at) are:

  • Blood Money
  • Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe
  • Sensible World of Soccer
  • Xenon 2 Megablast
  • Powermonger
  • Chaos Engine
  • Pinball Dreams / Fantasies
  • Syndicate
  • Lemmings

I much preferred the original C64 version of Paradroid to the Amiga version (Paradroid 90). The updated visuals actually worked against the gameplay imo.

EDIT: Completely forgot about Shadow of the Beast II. First game I ever played on my Amiga 500 - never saw much of the game as I was so bad at it, but the intro had smoke coming out of a chimney and EVERYTHING.

@DarthOrange: Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated! I think because I test my own levels almost every single time I change anything about them I tend to get too good at them and, as a result, make them overly challenging. Your suggestion to use some infinite life checkpoints is definitely a good one. I'll be sure to do that if/when I update the level.

Cheers

Hey Guys,

Took my first full LBP Vita level live last night and, some 12 hours later, only one person has played it. (One of the developers, who responded to me on Twitter.) If you've got a few minutes to spare, I'd really appreciate you taking the time to play and offer feedback on it. I plan to keep creating levels, but if folks don't like this one then I obviously need to try something different.

My "White Lines" level: http://vita.lbp.me/v/-b25r

Cheers

I want to be happy but there's a reason i never went to gamespot.

Did that reason have anything to do with a five-year old comic strip based on a rumor?

@Luke: GameSpot's Justin Calvert is still trying to find the last artifact. It's driving him so crazy that he's started talking about himself in the third-person.

A new low for game-inspired tees? I didn't think that was possible after receiving a Fairytale Fights ones in the mail a couple of weeks back.

Provided the micro-transactions don't include batteries to power the lightsabers, I'm in!

Quite a few of my console purchases have been motivated by individual games:

  • SNES - Super Mario World
  • PlayStation - Destruction Derby
  • N64 - Super Mario 64
  • Dreamcast - Ready 2 Rumble
