@mellotronrules: You know what? I see what you're saying and I kind of agree. It doesn't really "feel" like a Blizzard game. Blizzard games tend to have a certain feel to them it Overwatch doesn't really have that.

That being said. I had an absolute blast with the beta this weekend and will absolutely pick this game up when it comes out.

From the few hours I've put into it I'm really liking it and Mei is the best thing ever.

I'll wait for this game to have a healthy mod scene when it's dirt cheap on Steam.

I AT LEAST need an equivalent to SkyUI. That mod for Skyrim made the game a thousand times better.

From what I've seen around some reddit threads, game runs like garbage with Nvidia Gameworks and PCSS on. If you turn those off, it runs pretty good. Also, cloth physics simulation seems to run at 30FPS no matter your framerate is.

So the PC version was released today and I'm seeing a few reports here and there. Apparently, it's nowhere near as bad as Unity. It looks like a normal PC version of an Assassin's Creed. It doesn't run great but it's not complete ass either.

Anyone got their hands on it yet? I'd love to give this game a shot.

@barrock: DISCLAIMER : I'm not actually using a Steam Link but a barebones PC running Steam OS. I'd like to think that's what a Steam Link is.

Things are running pretty great for me but I did notice some issues with Witcher 3. The compression artifacts you often find in streaming videos are very noticeable in that game. Especially when horse-riding around a forest. You can change some settings here and there to fix the issue but it adds significant input lag.

I live in Québec but prefer to see movies in the original language (mostly English). Most theatres show movies dubbed in french but once in a while some of them show the original version. I was in the Montreal area visiting some family and we had a free afternoon so my father, brother and I decided to go see The Hobbit. We found a new-ish theatre that had opened a fancy-pants VIP section that had an English screening of it. That meant extra large-recliner seats, adults only and they served meals and alcohol. Complete with wait staff. So we watched the movie, in English, in a quiet theatre with a nice meal and a beer. The movie was pretty good but the highlight for me was the theatre itself. It wasn't all that expensive compared to regular theatres to.

It was great.

I've read the first book, watched the first season and then read the whole series before watching the rest of the show. I don't think doing it this way hurt my enjoyment in any way but I'm in the "the show is great but the books are better" camp.

It really hurts that these kind of things still happen in these day and age.
