2014 Games that I played

Not "Games I Played In 2014". This list is games that were released in 2014 that I played, for however short a time

List items

  • Best game of 2014

  • The second best game of 2014

  • Meh. Also, yes, it was a 2013 game in Japan but it was a 2014 game in the states.

  • It was a lot of fun until practically every player started using the Smart Pistol. The R101C was a good "counter-weapon" to the Smart Pistol, but they nerfed it so now every motherfucker uses the Smart Pistol and it's not fun anymore.

  • This game "wastes" a lot of time. I'll probably play more of it at some point, but I got a job soon after buying this game and it's just hard to justify playing a game where you have to spend a lot of time waiting for something to happen (picking locks, healing teammates after a battle, practically anything).

  • It's fun! I didn't finish it! I ignored good RPG's, as I am wont to do, probably in favor of more Minecraft or CSGO.

  • I didn't play Dragon Age II and I thought Mass Effect 3 was all right so if you're one of those people who hated Bioware after those two games, take my opinion with a grain of salt. But I think that Inquisition is a pretty good game. Big open world. Lots of stuff to do. Lots of nooks and crannies to look in. Varied, pretty environments. The sorts of things that tend to make me play more hours of an RPG than I should and forgive it for things like repetitive combat and not-quite-up-to-par controls. I dunno, it's worth a try if you generally like these kinds of games. Not going to blow you away, not going to make you think "this is the worst Bioware game ever".

  • I bought it in a recent Steam sale and played like ten minutes of the tutorial and thought "this could be great" and then I didn't play any more of it.

  • This is an excellent dungeon crawler that I might actually consider my third favorite game of the year when I jump back into it. I'm embroiled in Dragon Age and frankly ridiculous amounts of Counter Strike as of this writing, though.

  • Remember that part above where I said "regardless of how much I've played it?" Yeah, I have seen the main menu and the options menu of this game and that's it so I don't actually have an opinion on it.
