Picked it up a few days ago and put in about 10hrs so far. One of the annoyance I find is the quest tracker and general tracking or lack of such feature. For example, I just spent about 30-40 mins trying to find a trade depot on a planet for a quest. Traced the thin white line from space station to the planet but getting to that exact point is frustrating to no end. After circling the globe for a while, I was very close to the "end of rainbow" just above the top layer of atmosphere. Only to have pirates show up at the last minutes. The ship wasn't quite on top of the "thin white line" and lost track of where the line is pointing on planet's surface...while trying to dodge the shitty lasers from pirates. So, I flew back up to outer space and find the line again but it is no where to be seen. I had to carefully drop the controller on the couch as to avoid tossing it to the screen.
Maybe I just suck at this or maybe I'm just expecting too much to have my interstellar ship with scanners to place a pin point or marker on the HUD..
I got notification from walmart as soon as it went live and was able to order one within 5mins of preorder going live. Feeling pretty good about my order placement for now. There is a google group that will send you an email/text as soon as preorder goes live. Subreddit minisnes is also a good place to stay in loop if you missed this round.
I used to be a vet tech and worked with mostly no-kill shelters. Seems like your cat is exploring and settling at a new place. This can be stressful them. You can try using Feliway in the room/house. It is similar to those plugged in glad scent things.
PS. Nothing wrong with adopting adult cats. Much easier to gauge their personalities. You and your wife are good people for giving her a home.
Polystyrene foam are not fire rated. There are thermax brand rigid foam that could pass city fire rating code but that depend on the city building code. Not so sure about ceiling tiles but if they are similar to rigid foam or extruded foam blocks then chances of them being up to fire resistance code is low.
I works on my car and family member's cars. I have done simple oil change to full blown engine rebuilt. Starting to get into autodetailing as the cars don't need much work aside from usual oil change. Properly washing and claying cars soothes me for some reason. I can just focus on the work and block out the rest for a while. Compounding and polishing paint to a mirror finish is incredibly satisfying.
I studied animal biology and was considering vet school as a career path. Really love doing rescue works and behavior training with animals that are deems unadoptable. It started as resume building gig but I really enjoyed it to a point where I commit to it for several years. I have since decided to go back to school for engineering so my cat and salt water reef aquarium are my animal related fix nowadays.
