" Yeah so I'm walking through the mall and I feel this thing moving around in my back pocket where my wallet is. I turn and look over my shoulder and it's some 13/14 year old kid, so I just punched him in the jaw and left him sprawled on the floor. Now, I'm 34, so obviously this drew attention. Fortunately, a few people saw what had happened and corroborated my story.  I don't care how young you are, you put your hand on my wallet and I WILL HURT YOU. I have a CCL and I do carry a revolver, but I think he got the message written on my fist.  Would you punch a kid trying to steal your wallet? IMO, the best way to make sure you people don't FUCK with you is to ANNIHILATE anyone who does. "
Its still gonna be assault. You might get in trouble Chances are the parents are gonna come after ya.  "
No, not here. We have the 'Castle Doctrine' and 'Stand your ground' laws here. I can defend my property by any means necessary. And yes, the police were involved,  kid got taken into custody and released to his parents. No charges against me. "
Castle Doctrine is in your own home dude.  "
No, Castle Doctrine can apply anywhere. " A person not engaged in unlawful activity who is attacked in any place he or she has a legal right to be outside of his or her home or residence may use reasonable and proportionate force against an intruder or attacker:" "
You weren't attacked though - that implies physical aggression and pickpocketing does not count.   Kid seems like a punk but that was a definite over-reaction - you could have just as easily stopped his attempt by grabbing him and then calling the cops. No need to lash out unless you were in actual physical danger. "
Again, you cannot detain a person. Citizens Arrest doesn't exist here. And  'invasion' doesn't just mean your house, HE HAD HIS HAND IN MY PANTS. "
This thread was worth reading through just to see "HE HAD HIS HAND IN MY PANTS." Thank you.

KOTOR 2, despite all its glitches, gave me my favorite Star Wars storyline of all time. Including the movies. For that, I'm pretty thankful that Obsidian can keep making great stories, bugs or not.

I don't honestly see how they're comparable at all. Totally different types of shooters, other than the fact they're both first-person.

I hope they don't spend too much time on Medal of Honor, not really interested in hearing about that game for thirty minutes. I feel like Jeff did that pretty well on the Quick Look.

The first and third point should be a staple for any game, regardless of the franchise or genre. A game should be unique and free of harassing bugs before being pushed out the door.

Just a partial one? Where does signing up for a video game website account and posting on its forums draw the line from being a total nerd? I swear you cross that line eventually.

" You can watch Alan Wake on U-Tube...it's a linear story that can be finished in a few hours. "

Took me about 17-18 -_-  It's way longer than you'd think. I was expecting a game the length of maybe Heavy Rain or soemthing, but it was wayyyy longer and I was very happy about that. The Signal added another 2 hours onto that. "
I would really love to know how you stretched out Alan Wake into 17-18 hours. It took me nine and I took my sweet time taking in every location, and on top of that I am by no means a fast player at any genre.
