The Tetris Grand Master games had some combined board modes, those weren't turn based though, players had to drop their pieces simultaneously.

The damage conduits are an upgrade you picked up earlier, supposedly it replaces lost drones as your hull takes damage. No idea how strong the effect is, it's hard to notice among all the things going on.

Hm, I wonder if the upgrade progression is randomized or was changed after launch, I don't have any of those weapon modules and I'm further than you are.

The game starting with a ghost dragon and an infinity symbol reminds me of the Eternal Corridor area of La Mulana. Considering that series partially inspired Spelunky and LM2 also features the daughter of the whip wielding protagonist of the first game looking for her father in the ruins...

I don't remember, have our spelunkheads played La Mulana?

sunshine is totally fine as a game, please there are so many other games that are worse, I will never understand the hate for it. Especially since 64 to me has barely held up over the years.

Sunshine has a lot of frustrating bits and those really stick in the mind.

At times it was really hard to tell what's going on, probably because the sprites change in size so much and so quickly and the contrast between foreground and background is pretty weak.

Never been a fan of Rogue Legacy, in part because of the core design being that you attrition as you go further in your run and will ultimately fail so that you can then use the money to become stronger. Other Roguelites are about repeated attempts to beat the game, becoming better at it, unlocking more variety and options but not becoming strictly stronger or permanently beating some aspect of the game. They're the modern arcade games, ultimately about bashing your head against them until you become good enough to overcome them except unlike arcade games they aren't the exact same on every attempt.
