For typing games I highly recommend Epistory and Textorcist! Someone in the chat mentioned Nanotale which is the game Fishing Cactus made after Epistory. Excited to check it out.
Still sane, exile?
I think they quick looked Epistory back in the day? Textorcist is in the current Humble Choice bundle.
If you want a show about a setting where robots are dying as their time runs out and a hero robot and his dog go through the wasteland I'll suggest Casshern Sins. The main character was in Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
The Wikipedia generation count has those Pong machines and other consoles with only built-in games as gen 1, the 2600 and other early cartridge systems as gen 2.
@frytup: ah right, amd yeah? they're working on their own DLSS alternative though I think
Well, they're trying to market something they made as a DLSS alternative but it isn't really. DLSS is AI-based and requires special hardware that not all graphics cards have. The AMD FSR algorithm is something muuuuuuuch simpler that really can't do anything like what DLSS does. It's not designed to and that's fine but their marketing is trying to make people believe that it does.
This episode really breezed by! Really curious about where it goes. I started thinking what game I would pick that I really loved but not a lot of people know about and it's tough to come up with a game that I'm actually very familiar with. Like I thought Bureau 13 or Stratosphere: Conquest of the Skies were really neat I don't remember anything about them.
Oooh, Stratosphere. Clearly ahead of its time, even Nuts & Bolts was much later. Nowadays block based vehicle builders are a dime a dozen but some games did it before Minecraft made blocks popular.
