I find it funny that exclusives have become the death knell for Xbox when a year or so ago (when Sony was in the same boat) there was hardly a whimper. That said I do agree MS needs to show us some new exclusives - games that get us excited for their platform. But exclusives aren't the only reason this Scorpio news is exciting. Better looking and better running multi-platform games, XB1 games, and backwards compat 360 games sounds fantastic.

Sigh...no good! Really want you to stay Drew. What a great contributor to GB! Very best to you as you move on to something new.

Not really a dream, but Phil Spencer. Like Xbox or not, the guy is a gamer to the core and always has interesting and honest things to say about the industry.

@oursin_360: Or you can believe people like Game Informer who have gotten their hands on it and say it is easily over double the content of past expansions. Sounds good to me.

@jesus_phish: Your complaints are completely fair because they come from your experience. As for Jeff, I tend to dismiss some of his Destiny criticisms as a bit irrational at times.

But you have put 60 hours into the game. Even if you grew tired of it I would think you got your money's worth. I've put 18 hours into a game, wrapped up the story, and never played it again. Then there are games like Arkham Knight (which I love). Finished the story and the side quests fairly quick (much quicker than 60 hours). Haven't played it since.

Also, I don't get this idea that Bungie sold Destiny as a deep narrative-driven game. I never once got that from them. In fact my one gripe was that they were never clear on what it was. That is why I wasn't certain about getting it until after playing the beta and finally getting some last minute info drops. They just weren't clear. But they certainly didn't proclaim this to be a Halo-esque story-driven experience.

@maddman60620 And people can say what they will about Bungie but they have really listened to their community and some of the changes they are making show a willingness to not only listen but truthfully examine their game. The first TTK stream showed a ton of that and it is only the first of three info-drop streams. I'm excited.

The first Bioshock...by a mile. Loved Infinite but that first visit to Rapture was one of my favorite video game experiences.

Wasn't "barren" for me. I think it comes down to what your expectations may have been.

@Mike Fair point. I didn't mean it in the literal sense of millions and millions of players. I meant the community is still huge.

@monkeyking1969 There is one major problem with your theory. Millions of people are still playing Destiny and loving it. That's something I want to yell at Jeff when he would go off on one of his unhinged anti-Destiny tirades. He acts as if everyone is angry at Bungie and hate the game.

To be clear though, I COMPLETELY get why someone wouldn't be into Destiny. It's a very unique experience. But the rabid hate that we see so much is a bit much.
