What's with the multiple threads on this anyways?  Check it out and see for yourself... don't leave it up to others to determine if you will like it or not.  And if you don't like it, don't watch & don't complain.  There's a lot of other content for you here other than endurance runs.  The # of episodes it has gone up to should be a testament that there's a good # of people on this site enjoying it.  /endrant & incoming 2 cents.....
 
At first I didn't think anything of them and didn't bother to watch.  One day out of sheer boredom I fired the first one up.   I'm now up to about 40 & don't regret it.
 
The part that got me hooked was in an earlier episode when they met the bear dude in the TV... one of  your characters proceeds to tear his head off out of nowhere.  Jeff and Vinny's reactions had me laughing a good while.  If you've ever been a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000, you will definitely enjoy this.
 
Big yes from me & I look forward to seeing what the next endurance run game will be.  I'd love to see them at least do the hardest tracks on Trials HD.... Inferno II Jeff & Vinny?

That replay mysteriously doesn't load.  I wasn't aware we had over 47,000 bones in our bodies... now we know.  Down the Stairs leaderboards are officially broken. 

What makes this game worth it to me is the leaderboards.  I added everyone from a giantbomb trials gamertag thread & have a lot of fun trying to top their scores.   You could always play the demo and see for yourself.  This was the best 1200 I've spent, until Shadow Complex came along.

I had that same problem as well, my real life friends strictly play Madden.  Now my list is robust thanks to a previous thread on this.  There are some seriously skilled players from Giantbomb as well as the occasional awesomely insane user created map.

Yeah ski jump is working.  It's the down the stairs one that's glitched.  Watch the top replays, its kinda bs.  i don't even try on that one anymore.

Spent a good portion of the day trying to top randomhero666 / fuzzylongcat's and other fellow giantbombers skill event and trial scores.   A few of them still elude me... some nice scores there fellas.  See you on the boards!

A great part of this game was being able to view top replays to study button movements & bike placement.  So I've spent a good number of hours & 100's of attempts at trying to legitimately get a high score.  But after watching the new top scores for Down The Stairs, the top spots are glitches.  Not very fair to those who are #10 who have done it legitimately.  
 
So I attempted the glitch over the course of  10 minutes, thinking that it was some difficult thing to do, and managed to get my highest score.  Suffice to say, I felt ripped off for putting in all that time, trying to do it legit.  
 
It's called Down the Stairs, yet you can get the absolute highest possible score by landing a few feet away from the start.  This should have been called Down the Stair.  I hope they release a patch to address the glitch and maybe eliminate the glitched scores but that seemingly would be a massive headache.  
 
This is a quality assurance nightmare as this is probably one of the more popular skill games.    I don't see how they missed this... clearly some of the landings (Down The Stairs, Ski Jump) are glitched.. like when you land on the white thing in the middle after the fire columns.  Any extremity that hits it gets stuck to it and you boomerang back to it.  Think of Stretch Armstrong.  The top score replay looks like Stretch on a bad acid trip.
 
Anyone else a little miffed about these glitched scores in a game where your score is everything?

Does this mean they will still get their delayed payments?
What's going to happen with the revenue that is still made on their current titles?  I did just give them 10 bucks for bionic commando after all.
Is all this money going to be pocketed? Or used to start a new company?  
Who fucked them over by withholding their own money? Capcom?

The chat works fine... if I am in a squad, I can hear my squad members but I cannot hear the rest of the team.  If I am unsquadded (?) I can hear everyone else who is also unsquadded.  I've never had to rely on party chat to communicate with my squad.   To quote Blizzard... "It's Working as intended."
 
My only gripe is trying to be on the same team as my friends.  There have been a lot of times where 2-3 of us get split up and put on opposing teams.  I'm assuming its balancing issues but I never had this prob in COD4 or Halo3.  All in all a small gripe for a great game.

After 2 hours of trying King of the Hill on Extreme, my brain turned into applesauce &  I still haven't passed it. 
BUT
After initially declaring the first jump impossible & subsequently declaring all other jumps impossible after that, I've made it up to the last one.   With a little more practice, I am confident I will make that track my personal  bitch.
 
Studying the controller movements in the top replays will help.  These guys are absolute maniacs.  Also having your favorite podcast on in the background (i.e. Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast, new & old Giant Bombcasts) definitely breaks the monotony of grinding & learning that seemingly impossible jump.
 
The frustration & learning curve are what make this game memorable.  Take out the hard & extreme difficulties and you're left with a game that most will pass in a day & easily forget about.
