I recently bought one and am quite happy about it. I'm using DS4Windows and it minimizes to the notification area. It also starts up with Windows. The problem I have with it is that the bluetooth pretty much blocks out my wi fi connection and I can't seem to fix it by changing the wi fi channel around. Haven't really used bluetooth devices before so I'm not sure if it's unique to the PS4 controller. I'm using a long micro usb cable so I'm not having any problems with that.
There has been plenty of positive feedback on the PS4 controller so I'll give some negative points. I think the analog sticks are too small. It feels like my thumbs could slip off while playing a game. Haven't had any problems while actually using them though. The new location of the start and select button took some getting used to. They're pretty hidden on the pad. The default settings that DS4Windows uses for the mousepad thing aren't optimal. It puts all three mouse buttons on the pad and it doesn't always register correctly. If you want to to stop mouse movement you need to press the playstation button. If you don't, the mouse will just keep moving when you click the mousepad. I changed it so left clicking the pad will press the left mouse, right clicking the right and when I do multitouch (two fingers on mousepad) the mouse will stop moving and I can easily click with it
For more positive things, this controller is a great couch controller for pc gaming because of the mousepad. I'm thinking of games with partial controller support that require you to click ok in a launcher before you can actually start the game. I like being able to change the colour of the controller light.
I've heard that it doesn't play nice with BetterDS3 though. I thought that the main problem was that it picks up PS3 controllers as the primary controller and puts the PS4 one as the second one.
