I love to buy downloadable game because they are something new that would never make it normaly as a 60 dollar retail game. Though I do not buy retail games online because I would rather have a physical disk to put on my shelf. Its like when someone shows off their DVD collection, accept my collection is games.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Rant

With the latest news from Eurogamer about Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 I am actually kind of angry. When I first heard of the news that Ninja Gaiden 2 was coming to the PS3 I was very excited. The thought of news levels, new enemy types and new characters to play with sounded super fun. But now that the news came out that the new director was taking it in a new.... non gory, casual direction I was kind of unsold on the game.

Ninja Gaiden in my mind is all about the stylish action and intense difficulty. With the announcement of the game only having two difficulty modes and the blood being removed from the game but being replaced with a purple mist sounds like they are trying to go for a broader audience on what we all know is a "hardcore" game. I could see if the purple mist came out of feind characters but I think we all know the humans bleed..... you know, blood. There has also been talk of DLC content "that will be meaningful and will extend to the experience. This to me screams "We're going to release the difficulty modes later to milk some money you of you guys".

Don't get me wrong the new additions to the game sound awesome and the co-op features are just getting me anxious to take my ninja skills online but these so called "new features" just sound straight up weird to me. Maybe the new producer Yosuke Hayashi has something against Tomonobu Itagaki or something but taking the game in this new artsy way just doesn’t sell to me. They could have had the purple mist as an option while also leaving the blood in like Gears 2 style violence filter. If they sell difficulty levels as DLC so help me I'm probably going to buy them, I guess I'm just part of the problem as well.

Trying to not get angry as best I can

Hey whats up. Time for a new blog again.

Soul Calibur 4 has been taking up my disk tray in my PS3 because its really fun. Especially the charictar creator. I made a charictar called Girl Pants (Stole the idea from James Milky from 1up) and decked him out in the most crasy heavy duty armor ever. Then put the deepest voice i could. Then have him Amys moveset so he prances around like a girly girl.

Another thing totaly went to this big arcade place called Playdium. Its about a 20 minute drive for where i live and my friend and I got to play arcade games for 4 hours for only 22 sweet, sweet canadian dollars.

Still playing Rock Band. Got a really high score on Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who on drum on Expert. I also broke 10 Million total career score so I am getting up there on the leaderboard.

Well thats the end of it. I'm going to play some N on the computer. Its N+ like on the 360 but for free and you can download it here if you want.

Oh almost forgot the thing that is making me angry is SC4 online..... PPL STOP USING KILIK HE IS CHEAP!!!

Goodbye Gamespot, hello GiantBomb.

Well it is official. I Killroycantkill have abandoned my account over at gamespot and is now GiantBomb exclusive.

The new site looks pretty sweet and i cannot wait to bring some of my stuff over here. For one thing I am going to put up my Rock Band review once I find out how to put up reviews. Also IT WAS MY B DAY YESTERDAY!!!

I got a ton o cash for videogames of course. Also i got a car.... WOOT IM FREE!!!

Well off to be scared out of my pants in Condemned 2. Longer blog post next time.
