Despite which console/consoles you play on what kind of food is the one that is best served to a certain type of game? 
Street Fighter IV for example or any other well made beat 'em up game what goes good to a game like that? its intense, you don't spend much time in menus; its more damn let's go!
 I say to a game like that, a bucket  easy-to-reach full of snacks. 
 
hmm going on, RPG's now that is a style of games I persoanlly like to spend hours upon hours with and to RPGs, which takes time you can spend 3-4 hrs leveling up or running around catacombs searching for treausre or better weapson.. a good hot lasagne with tex-mex falvoured taste goes well for me and served along with a fresh salad to drink a good redwine OR coca cola for those who are minors nor doesn't like wine =)
 
Adventure games then Uncharted or Gears Of War (if I can call that adveture, but I wanto to so I am)  to Adventure games hot food can be made but should be more easy like  macaroni and cheese or something like that.. combined with a bucket of snacks hehe.

The only thing I mentioned here that was like a full worthy dinner was with RPGs but I guess RPGs are games that can give you the most time to enjoy a good meal and play at the same time... I know that trying to eath and playing like Street Figher IV aint the best idea of you wanna win.
 
so the verdict with this post is
 
Figthing Games: an easy-to-reach bucket full of snacks 
RPGs: Hot meals, tips: lasagne with tex-mex flavour served togheter with a salad and redwine (or coca-cola for the minors, or wine haters)
Adventure Games: either hot or cold food. macaroni and cheese is good and after that bucket full of snacks.
 
of course there are other type of games out there so if you have an idea or just am as bored as I am to actually write a blog like this one.. fill in with more types of awsome stuff to eat..

I try to keep my controllers clean, so I usually "drink" my chips.

Fighting game = nothing for me 
RPG`s = hot meals, a LOT of snacks, alcohol 
strategy games = see rpg's 
Any other type of game is just snacks

Pizza is a good meal to eat while playing an rpg, just make sure you have a roll of paper towels at hand.

I find it nearly impossible to get hungry while playing videogames =] 

When I play an rpg I like to get shit face drunk. I don't think I have played an SMT game sober...fucking hell I have been drunk a lot! Not so much into stuffing my face when gaming.

There we are. As for me, I don't eat while gaming. I like to keep my controllers/keyboard clean. 

I tend to eat a tasty meal no matter what I'm playing.  I don't tend to base my food pallet on what game I'm playing at the moment, its pretty much what i'm hungry for or what really sounds good.  I like to eat almost anything while I'm playing video games....and really doesn't come down to what you reach in your hand with a controller in the other, or if you can keep your controller or key board clean as your eating.  But I want to say that at the moment of eating....you can always reach for something that people have made called "The Napkin".  So I guess what I'm saying is eat your like and enjoy it no matter what game your playing or whether its a controller or a key board.

If I'm eating while I game, it's either pizza covered in hot sauce or chicken covered in hot sauce. 

I actually play way better when I'm hungry, when I don't care though?
Chocolate, and lots of it.

I have cheese and crackers and beer when playing random games... as I am right now!

The only time i done that was when i done the MGS4 Endurance Run, it was a deep pan meat feast pizza with cheesy dough balls.  

Meat lovers pizza, yummm.

Heroin.

Clearly Mountain Dew and Burger King are the only meals fit for gamers.
