The very definition of a FPS 0

The Call of Duty series finally moves beyond WWII and its the best move they could have made. Infinity Ward has crafted the best first-person shooter I have ever played on any platform. Presentation: Graphics are beautiful and at a silky smooth frame rate. The sounds of the battlefield are clear and intense. You truly feel your in the front lines. Gameplay: It is simply done right. The gunfights are just right with some very fun side missions such as playing as a sniper in a ghillie suit. The...

Lackluster, pathetic attempt at a Doom-ish FPS 2

Story: You star as Tommy, a Native American without any regard for his heritage, who was abducted by aliens. Unfortunately this never is truly elaborated upon. He only cares about saving his girlfriend and the dialogue gets to the point that if you hear one more whiny comment from him, you will reach the screen and choke him. Story is pretty bad considering who wrote it. Graphics: Straight Doom/Quake 4 carbon copy. Truly uninspiring Gameplay: It's a run of the mill FPS and it even fails to ac...

The story isn't overly complex which in my view is good for an action game. You want to shred stuff, not read literature. This is does not suggest that the story is weak. In fact, its quite good and rich with Gree...

A quality cinematic action game 0

Uncharted is an action/adventure game similar to the Tomb Raider series in some regard. It tantalizes your senses with lush colorful environments with a magnificent musical score. Throw in gunplay and narrow escapes straight from the movies and you get a solid experience. Graphics: Definitely next-gen visuals mixed with great artistic representation. It doesn't set the bar higher per say but isn't lacking in anyway either. The jungles are lush with plants swaying in the wind and spots on ligh...
