Where are they breaking for you? I found the Epic 2's to be really good, although you'll have to deal with Bluetooth wonkiness at times. But they're wireless, last a heckuva long time between recharges, and it's one less wire to possibly damage (a lot of the time, the 3.5mm jack connector is what gets damaged for me)

They're also on sale right now.

You know, it's interesting. I talked with Arthur Gies (Reviews editor) for a bit about it on twitter. I like Arthur a lot and I think he does a really good job in his reviews. However, in this case, I asked him if he felt that Polygon would have been better served to have started with a lower review score and ended with a higher one. Suffice to say, he didn't feel it was necessary and that Polygon had stated their review process thoroughly in their cubric. I didn't really agree with that since I felt that Polygon had accidentally left out important information (the server state and how that affects the game) by publishing a review so early.

I don't mind that Polygon is approaching reviews differently. Really, that's just Polygon's style and I think it can give people something different, which I applaud. What I think though, is that since Polygon does have the ability to change a score, they should really be accounting for launch issues, since scores can be revised later. Russ Pitt's initial review is almost a preview to me since he basically talks about what ideally Sim City could be, if it works properly.

Suffice to say, Arthur and I disagreed, but I think in this case, and in the future, Polygon is courting a lot of controversy if they continue to go down this review path. It's not like there are going to be fewer games that are "always online", and I doubt this is the last time we'll see a game with server issues.

I understand where McShea's coming from, but he should take a page from people like David Mamet and Lynn Mamet (Writers on the excellent "The Unit" TV show) and actually talk to those soldiers he feels are being exploited. It was always interesting to hear Lynn Mamet say that she used to be an anti-war chick until she started writing on "The Unit" with her husband and her views changed quite drastically. On many different levels, games like MoH are recruiting tools for the army just like films such as Blackhawk Down are. You can talk about the exploitive nature from a lot of different angles. Just wish McShea was more articulate and educated in his defense of his editorial.

Well, I just did some invasion missions, single player, with 9 stars, and got about 15,000 team points. lol. Good thing I'm on the east coast.

Feel free to organize a conquest mission in the evenings. Like I said, I'll be working. We're almost up to 300,000 team points so really, we should expand our territory.

Any opinions on this: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/984945-/62391035

I've started to do some invasion missions in the mornings (east coast time) since I'm going to be working evenings Mon-Wed for the next month or so. :D Weakening enemy territories etc

From what I understand, the base 500 or so items are unlocked from team level, then a few (ultimate) ones are done through story, and the rest are via scrap

I'm in Toronto, on the east coast, so I'm usually seeing similar people. Work is going to conspire against me for the next few weeks though, but I usually get on by at least 8:00PM EST.

I've run some blitz solo just to get cash and team points, but I don't know how efficient that really is. Need some direction there. My loadout right now is just to really get through story missions, so I'm not too sure what my style is. I'm currently using a medium/close range setup

I'll be on earlier in the day since I'm east coast. That way, we can attack in multiple time zones :p
