Super cool. I hadn't actually heard of Jess before, until she started doing a feature here, but I grew to like her very quickly and so it's awesome that she's joined Giant Bomb proper.
The zooming out to show the scale of everything always blows my mind. I can watch those vidoes over and over again and I'll always marvel at it.
Dan came with a lot of good questions and theorised some legit possibilities that people had acually considered. Entertaining. Good times.
My only slight remark for this episode is I wish they'd given the Fermi Paradox more time. Jeff kept saying that it's a list of possible scenarios but didn't really go through many of them. The video didn't feel as focused on those variables as it was made out it would. I'm sure I've watched a Fermi video on that channel which really goes into each scenario of the paradox in much more detail. Maybe I'm misremembering. But it's just so interesting that I wanted Dan to really appreciate it because he kept mentioning some of the things and they never expanded on them.
Thank you for everything Alex, Brad and Vinny. You have all been amazing and I can't wait to see your final few streams this week.
Best of luck to Jeff as he embarks on rebuilding the bomb. I really am looking forward to seeing what those 2 words together, 'Giant Bomb', mean moving forwards. Scary but hopefully exciting times ahead.
