I'm not going to read the comments because I find that reading comments is really never productive. But, I wanted to say thank you to the staff and Jeff for writing something. I am an avid listener to both Patrick and Jeff's (Brad's?) podcasts and had previously found it strange that while Patrick brought up these issues frequently it was absent from the bombcast. I'm glad Jeff did decide to denounce it even if I now understand his reasons for not wanting to give it any credence by even dealing with it and feeling that anything he said would be meaningless anyway. I just hope we can all hold on long enough for this to settle back down and get back to enjoying a diverse array of video games.

A new patch game out which is super weird. It removed all the gates that needed keys or stars. But, it put all the optional stuff on a linear main line route. That means that some of the really hard levels that used to be locked behind optional doors are now required to progress. The Match 2 game with 5 different symbols in particular I doubt I could beat if I had to.

What does everyone else think?

I couldn't agree more. This really struck me when I was listening to it too.

Just by listening to the way they talk, it seems to me that both Patrick and Phil Fish have a bit of an inflated ego. So, I think it's entirely appropriate for Patrick to compare his reactions to that of Phil Fish.

I listened to the podcast every week and Ryan was the one I always enjoyed hearing from the most. I feel like I've lost a friend. I can only imagine how hard this is for Jeff and the others. I'm so sorry guys.

Frankly, I'm glad someone else noticed.
