i have another question, is Borderlands playable in co-op splitscreen? i read yes on some boards and no on others i'm confused, because i'm really seeking for a split-screen campaign..... god my English feels terrible this morning i apologize -_-;
i don't normally blog anymore... but i guess this is geek enough so it needs a blog update now to make a long story short, my friend, who is an active Eclipse community member asked me to work on a logo to represent the CDT "part" of eclipse (C/C++ dev tools). Because at that time, there was about 5 logos for the same thing so he wanted to obviously have only one to clearly represent CDT as an eclipse project.... and OMG my logo got approved last week-end and it's already on CDT main page :O so now CDT has an official logo :D
" That's odd. I haven't had any performance issues with the game here running on an 8800GT. And I've only been playing the SP portion. I'm on XP 32-bit though, and still using the 196.34 beta drivers. I would suggest updating to the latest driver or rolling back to a previous one, the last few times I updated mine I've had nothing but trouble so I just stick to what seems to work well with all the games I play. I've had trouble with pretty much every driver since 180.xx with a few exceptions. "
i tried 2 set of drivers and nothing worked... i could always try an older one -_-; god i want my game to work T_T
edit : omg it "worked".. i mean.. it could still be better but god at least the performance test passes and i can play with medium settings thanks so much i would have never though to use an older driver
Hi, i just bought Warhammer DoW2 on Steam amd i'm having some serious video and sound issues. when i run the performance test, even with the settings all at low, i get approximatly 10 FP;. when i disable the sound, it's around 19 FPS.
when the sound is enabled in the performance test, it lags terribly. Sometime when i try to change some graphic options the game crashes with a Direct X error (telling me that my version of direct x might be too old).
the problem is : i updated Direct X, my video card drivers, divx codecs, my sound card drivers, even my chipset drivers, and there's no improvement whatsoever.
i uninstalled and redownloaded the game, it did noting either. i tried to lower the resolution, i gained around 3FPS.
I'm currently running on windows 7 x64, with 4 GB of RAM and a geForce8800GT with the latest beta drivers (i tried the latest official release too)
Any help would really be appreciated, i don't know what to do anymore. I sent an email to THQ but since it's the week-end i don't expect a response before at least tuesday or wednesday

i used to mostly like japanese RPGs but now i pretty much like everything that as some quality work in it and/or originality, from shooters to RPGs, though i have like RPG/RTS/ tactic RPG best i play WoW but my account is now frozen, i've been playing less and less since Wrath came out and my guild is like 475398 dungeons ahead of me so there's not much left to do, and pugging well.. everybody know that it sucks hardcore so... i'm waiting for Cataclysm to reactivate my account. i own a snes, Dreamcast, DS , PSP, PS2, PS3, 360 and i'm always open to game suggestions to add to my wishlist.. though my ps2 collection still have some missing pieces :(
Aside from games, i'm a huge movie fan, my fav director is David Lynch by far, i still dream about a second season of Twin Peaks in secret :P
i discovered GB recently and i love it ^^ ... there's achievements, therefore my achievement whoreness is fulfilled ;)

i liked T1 (yes i can bypass the GM overexposure :P), but T2 was horrible :( the only thing that was motivating me to maybe watch T3 was megan fox... soooo i guess it'll wait :P and i dont think that Megan Fox is as mediocre as people tends to say, i don't understand the big fuss about it, there's clearly worse actresses out there.... i mean she's not an oscar winner (at least right now) but god she's not the worse actress that can be cast either -_-;
