@laserbolts: Well it's of the same breed I think. The problem is that documentary seems to only focus on the more insane looking ones. I think I may have reacted wrong, but I've hung out with a whole group of masked people with their own personas, all in mask and some in costume. It's often a positive crowd of people who (at least in my area) have a very positive affect on the area that surrounds them.

@laserbolts: At a club? He's literally a security guard, none of them think they're super heroes that are going to go around beating people up and stopping robberies... I think you're misunderstanding this deeply. If that were the case then yes, he would be crazy.

I am confused by what you are talking about as I have not yet watched the happy hour but I have to stop and say as a fellow Floridian that....

Florida fucking blows.

I disagree. I frequent Kava bars, micro breweries, play at quite a few open mics at those places. I'm also volunteering at a puppet theater for kids. Oh, and my friend is a hero who goes out in a mask and themed clothing but is still accepted by society...

kinda awesome in my book.

How can you be offended about someone making fun of something as silly as that?

Simply because I've seen good done first hand in a working way. I understand that the cases they were looking at were on the silly side, but frankly I don't feel that they understood some people were actually making a difference in their communities in a positive way with it. They sort of just wrote it off as crazy people.

Recently watched the happy hour and I felt a tiny bit offended by the comic vines remarks on the real life hero documentary and people. I understand that their assumptions might place those people all trying to achieve something on the heels of Batman and the like, but I'm personally friends with some of that ilk down here in South Florida and most of them are extremely sensible individuals.

As a matter of fact, my friend Purple Lotus is a certified security guard and regularly wears a mask and some makeup when going out to clubs/lounges. He's made friends with the owners of those places and they welcome him and generally give him free coffee and accommodate him throughout the night. He does little things and watches out for trouble, and his presence is generally comforting to regulars. I've considered getting into the scene myself, but have strayed away as I've never been one to draw any attention to myself.

@ch13696: I'm not getting DIII for quite a few reasons, but I'm cool with Blizzards DRM to be honest. I play SCII and it works well overall with only a few frustrations.

@desolation15: Loot is client specific, you can't pick up other people's loot.

@YoungFrey: I would agree with you completely on most points. My issue comes in when we look at the fact that most legitimate players wouldn't do this otherwise... it's now opening basically anyone who plays enough up to this market, rather than just people willing to make shady deals. Effectively destroying the in game economy.

@Coreymw: Because many of the higher level items won't be put up for auction with in game money because most people will want real money for them...
