This game looks a lot like the zombie mode in Treyarch's Call of Duty games, except with the gameplay mechanics of Sniper Elite V2. 4-player coop, undetermined number of maps, variety of weapons, etc. It's worrisome that they haven't shown any game play footage considering it's coming out Tuesday, but I really liked Sniper Elite V2, so I'm willing to give this a chance and hopefully be pleasantly surprised.

Anyone else waiting for this? Picked up a 4-pack with some friends on IRC since it only came out to $9/person, so not a huge loss if it's bad.

Hopefully that won't be the case though.

It would be kind of a bummer, but at the same time, I already subscribe to PSN Plus and love it, so if they keep the same stuff that comes with Plus on the PS4 and it just moves MP behind the pay wall, I'm fine with it for the most part. I don't play much online anyway, so it wouldn't be a deal breaker either way.

Sony showed exactly what they needed to show, considering we're in February and this won't be out until November.

New Infamous game has me excited, definitely my favorite 1st party franchise from the PS3. Bummed that the Motorstorm guys are basically making a Gran Turismo, since my pre-requisites for racing games is that they bounce or blow up real good.

Also, Sony PR confirmed they will not block used games and you won't require an internet connection to play them.

I'm already a PSN Plus subscriber, so if they move online MP behind the wall as well as keep the free game train running, I'd be okay with that, although it would be disappointing.

Looking forward to seeing more for sure. E3 can't get here soon enough.

I want to see it on my PC, but probably not $60 worth. I'll wait til I can snag it somewhere in the $30-$40 range.

I hate to be "that guy", and maybe humans in 2047 don't have blood, but otherwise, when he stabs a dude in the water, shouldn't there be blood in the water?

When did RE5 come out? That was a fantastic game.

2009.

And opinions vary, but the general consensus, whether you liked it or not (I did, in spite of itself), RE5 was a pretty substantial departure from the series, for better or worse, depending, again, on who you ask.

Do you mean that RE5 heavily changed from the earlier games, without much of a hint of horror (unlike RE4, which had at least a little hint of horror in it), or that RE5 wasn't generally received very well? Because I would agree with you on the former but on the latter, most people seemed to have enjoyed RE5 at least somewhat.

Yeah, just in that it was a dramatic change from RE4 and previous games in the series. A lot of people liked it, but even most people I've talked to that liked it think RE4 is kind of the pinnacle of the series and 5 is a lesser title.

More stealth! More invisibility! I want to be a goddamn cyborg ninja with cloaking and silenced sniper rifles, fuckers.

Yes sir. Please. Pretty please. Pretty please with a cherry on the top.

Link

A group has been working on the "Resident Evil 1.5" game that has been mentioned on the podcast occasionally and they just released an ISO version of the playable game for people to check out and maybe help complete. Seems pretty cool, I'll be checking this out later when I get home assuming someone posts a viable link in the thread I linked to.

Nothing like a piece of Resident Evil history in light of how the series has declined over the past 4-5 years.

Looks like there's a link to the game itself on their main site here. Downloaded and ran through the AV treadmill, seems safe enough.

Guy's entitled to his opinion.

Now what would be really funny would be for the press to lynch George Broussard like a mob for this comment.

He totally is. At the same time, given his friendship/dealings/history with Randy Pitchford and Gearbox, when you're a minor celebrity on the internet, people are going to take anything you say and pick it apart. He wouldn't be the first and won't be the last.

Sometimes the best position to take is silence.
