Been playing purely solo and find PUBG enjoyable. With patience it's easy to go to top 10 as long as you have even tiny bit of luck in getting some murder tools, then the rest is mind games mostly. Haven't gotten into team modes as I'm garbage quality shooter with mouse + keyboard.

Probably No Man's Sky or Street Fighter 5. Both on the grounds of pushing out an unfinished product (these are the ones I actually stopped couple hours in and uninstalled). Don't really remember taking other full price mistakes.

The small form factor and Dolby Vision HDR/Atmos are a big selling point for me. It's $50 less than the Oppo BD player with the same features and it comes with the bonus of playing video games.

I think people are really underplaying those features and it's a real shame. I don't think people understand what they have there.

That all being said I think the real question isn't is it a good price for what you get <Spoiler Alert It Is>. The question is about value and I'm not sure that 4k matters enough to enough people for the answer to that question to be yes for most consumers. Then again I don't know if Microsoft cares.

This is my main reason considering on getting this as well. Doesn't seem too much more expensive than UltraHD Bluray whatnot players. Yes, I could get a gaming PC with a drive but I don't want a bulky box in my living room. I have my PS4Pro hidden behind my TV and there's still plenty room for another movie-/gamebox back there.

Alien - Covenant; 7/10. Okay addition to the series. Looks and sounds great but the plot and cast is kinda disappointing. Fassbender saves the rest of the unforgettable cast. Maybe Scott should have given the reigns to Blomkamp already.

Hard Revenge, Milly: Bloody Battle; 7/10. Lots of bang for the buck. Great fight scenes with exploding bits and blood fountains.

Hard Revenge Milly (short) - 6/10. Made to get funding for a full feature film I think (which will be viewed soon, yay!), and does a ok job at that. Some silly but great blood fountains combined with a well done end fight.

Main focus is on movies so I have a 5.1 setup build around a Yamaha RX-V1800 amplifier. Up front is some Jamo towers and a Wharfedale mid speaker, surround speakers are from Paradigm and sub is from ace-bass (surely this can't be a real manufacturer name?). Console and PC are both plugged to Yamaha and everything seems to work fine - I do have a old arm chair that has wide enough arm rests for the keyboard so I just move that in front of the TV when playing with the PC.

I'm one of those people that can't stand headsets - haven't found comfortable ones in the past 20 years so just gave up on those.

Looking at peoples responses here either Internet has changed or our view upon it as we age. I as well met great people when I was younger through online games (Original UT, Raven Shield, Swat 3 era) and I still stay in touch with couple of them. But as I've gotten older it has become more and more difficult to get involved in communities around games despite I still play them way too much. I just find it somehow cumbersome to try to get deeper in online communities as I feel just being too old (mid 30s). And it's so much more easier just to poke at stuff from the side.

And of course most of the Internet is full of jerks.

Get Out - 7/10. Really food thriller/horror that in couple places goes too far out to the bonkers land.

The Nice Guys - 7/10. Great 80s style buddy cop movie. Never would've thought anyone in Hollywood would be allowed to make these. Almost as good as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

The video @jslack linked works fine for me as well. Giantbomb is the only site where I have problems with video content. And like wise to @fish_face_mcgee this problem appeared for me suddenly last week. Just noticed that I couldn't post on the forums with Edge either, after clicking reply button page did load up but my reply apparently disappeared into ether.
