Maybe try doing something like this:

I am not sure about materials, but man, your imagination is the limit.

Add a piece of black curtain in the pipe to get the effect of jumping between two different places.

Add simple arduino with motion sensor that plays warp sound every time you slide through.

You can also add some handles for a better slide.

But it kinda breaks the immersion. Well, you can always do a crawl, like a filthy animal.

@hanihani: For some reason keyboard works really well for me. I tried to play on a gamepad, but I had much harder time with movement.

Brad was dumping his saves during "Super NT Super Stream". He used Retrode, but I think they are hard to get.

I tag games in my steam library, so I can filter finished games. I don't have any console, so it's much easier to manage.

Games I played:

  1. Mass Effect 2
  2. Hitman
  3. Skyrim
  4. Shadow of Mordor
  5. XCOM
  6. GTA IV

I disliked GTA IV. I think after Vice City and San Andreas I was tired of the formula.

I only remember things like much more players playing online than copies sold. It was the case for Unreal Tournament 3 and Demigod.
