A few quick looks strewn between. In so far as I'm aware nothing really needed changing prior to the changes. That said, most of the people involved in the content I've enjoyed most have moved on, those who haven't don't seem to enjoy making such content.

@godmade1: They got bought by a bigger company and leaked employees over time until the people who built it were mostly gone.

It's the same fate many developers absorbed by the corporate singularities of the industry have experienced.

They went from 9 to 6 over the course of a year without replacing anyone before going from 6 to 3 (it's actually five now: Jan Jason, Matt, Jeff and Jeff). Thinking about it actually makes me feel like whoever is in charge of staffing the site gives less of a shit about the staff than some of the less than savoury commenters.

He made a video about why he only covers negative things. (the answer is profit)

Personally, I feel his desire to do nothing but recite the worst of the worst from the industry is kind of abusive in itself. (Not as bad as Ubisoft/ActiBlizz but certainly not virtuous).

Metal Gear Scanlon, Kerbal Project B.E.A.S.T, Beast in the East, Murder Island and The Exuisite Corps are some of my favourite series on the site.

The problem with the PSO stream (and much of the content produced over the last year) is the solo nature in my opinion.

Granted, the editing in Bourne to Run isn't the end of the world but the hard cuts don't add any value either.
