I also had a problem figuring why I liked that game so much. It was a satisfying super meat boy that rewarded you with a floor full of gore for your efforts.
So I just finished Aku no Hana... at least, finished what scanslations are available on Mangareader. I want to read something else like it, but I don't know where to go. I love this series so far and look forward to when it comes to it's flame induced, knife wielding finish!
Yeah it's a real shame and all but people murder other people. This is nothing new. Get over it. We just get all bent out of shape when it's little white kids in america and not when it's black kids in africa.
very edgey
he's right, no matter how edgy he's trying to be
(it's also not super relevant to the topic at hand)
@HellBound: considering the stigma that going to a therapist/psychiatrist has, uh no.
Telling people to "get over it" is dumb, but ok whatever you guys can continue adjusting your fedoras and not caring that 20 little kids got executed.
I meant the part about african kids, not the get over it part, because it's bad no matter where it happens
(it just happens in places like the DRC much more often)
A large portion of the members here are from the U.S. so for them to be more upset about this than the horrors children face in other parts of the world is totally logical. There is nothing wrong with feeling worse about the death of someone you can relate too than someone whose life is so foreign you can't even really imagine it.
What happened today is a terrible tragedy and just as whenever a child dies it's a tragedy.
oh I know, it's just that people should also care more about that stuff; regardless of how far you are.
As I said. It's a real shame... but 20 kids pale in comparison to the genocidal horrors elsewhere. We should be grieving like this every fucking day... but we don't. Which is why I say to get over, because this is just going to keep happening until we do.
