Now I remember why I hate forums and don't make a habit of posting on them.

Any mainstream game list of hardest games always lists contra but I personally blasted through both contra and super c mastering both in a matter of a couple days each. Castlevania on the other hand took a couple weeks to get down and I just 1cc completed the second loop for the first time today. I even found the first loop significantly more difficult than either of the aforementioned contra games. Am I just odd or is castlevania really that hard? It seems to me it doesn't get the recognition it deserves as it's one of the hardest games I've played in a long time.

P.S. I will say though that hardest game lists are bogus or they would just be made up of things like Donpachi.

Honestly I wish people would stop bringing up the 360 dpad as everybody knows it's terrible. I wanted to discuss why the gamecube dpad at least in my opinion is inferior to other nintendo directional pads.

Saying the gamecube dpad is better than the 360 pad is like saying it's better to get punched in the arm than the face. I don't know I have 5 official controllers and have used every nintendo dpad imaginable and it's the worst one I can think of. I don't honestly remember how the n64 dpads were though and I don't have the system anymore to test (much to my regret).

Almost every nintendo console has had an excellent dpad so what gives when it comes to the pile of suck that is the gamecube. I suppose the argument could be made it's not used very much, but I still say it stinks.

I'm debating whether or not it's worth spending the money on the wiiware version and was wondering if anybody had any input.

That's all xbox 360 stuff though, I'm looking for xbox stuff. I'll probably just have to hook up my console and give it a look myself but I would prefer a more sorted approach on the internet.

I've never used xbox online (I don't have a 360 but an original console). Is there a website anywhere that lists all the available download titles for the original xbox? The only thing I was able to find was this list here on wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_Live_Arcade, but it just lists the 37 xbox live arcade titles. I can't seem to find a listing of marketplace titles.
