Still just a teaser so no real details outside of it is the next mainline SMT game. Contrary to some early predictions it seems like this is Switch exclusive. In the original teaser it mentioned that another version was also coming to 3DS, this looks a bit more ambitious than IV was and there's no mention of it here so I don't know if that's still the case.

Either way excited for more SMT!

Pre-Orders are up for Dragon Ball FighterZ on Xbox; the listed release date is Thursday Jan 25th for the Ultimate/FighterZ Editions. With their big bundles they usually give a few days early access, so I assume that means Jan 30th is actual release date for regular/PS4 versions which lines up pretty close to the Japan Feb 1 release. More of interest is the FighterZ Edition is $95, which includes the season pass with "8 new characters"; I'm seeing a lot of people speculating that the DLC is where they'll have the movie/DBZ Super characters like Hit and Goku Black (neither of which are Hercule so I don't know why everyone is yelling about them but so be it). 8 new characters is nice but $35 for a season pass is pretty damn expensive, though seems like that's becoming the standard (SFV S2 and MvC:I are $30 for 6 new characters, I2 is $30 for 8 new characters + Darkseid who you also got by pre-ordering, Tekken is $25 I think for only 2 new characters and Tekken Bowling). Math works out so if they're $5 each you're saving 2 and if they're $8 each you're saving quite a bit but still costs of getting all this stuff is starting to add up...

Ultimate Edition also includes 11 DLC Songs from the anime and a commentary pack, so expect more of that stuff down the line.

Ah so that's why I haven't been able to get to it the past few hours, that sucks to hear. I started lurking the SFV/MvCI/FGC threads a couple months back and checking out the general threads, like KenzinFive mentioned even though I was just lurking it felt like a small community around it. Sounds like it got shut down/protested for good reason at least.

@clagnaught: I didn't cover for her at first until he told Rachel she wouldn't be part of the play; Wells mentions that he was just going to suspend Chloe for the year with possibility of coming back next year; so sameish results. Reading around, at the play you end up convincing Victoria acting is for losers or can drug her like she tried to do so that scene still plays out.

I just wrapped it up, it says spoilers in topic title so I'm not going to tag much.

I was definitely more Max than Chloe, so I've been purposely trying to roleplay as Chloe instead of what I'd do which has felt odd and had me cringing a few times at her choices but I'm enjoying it. The big twist at the end with the other woman being Rachel's Mother feels a bit out of left field, we'll see how it plays out but I was shaking my head more than feeling surprised. It just felt a bit too... gotcha? The stage play while fun felt a bit too convenient, having Chloe get expelled and everyone knowing it/commenting on it but still being OK with her joining in spur of the moment felt silly to me, I would've thought someone would've stepped up and said "Hey, not happening!" but even though she wasn't supposed to be there her appearing in the play is perfectly normal? I dunno.

As far as choices at least on PC (and still day 1 so numbers may change) but I was surprised to see how many people (including me) kept the money from Mikey's brother; it's at 68% at the time of this post. Outside of that one they all felt fairly obvious and the numbers are pointing that way as well; outside of the David ones and maybe 1 other they were all 70%+ one way.

Definitely enjoying it and want to finish it off (this one was about month and a half, so I'd guess next episode for early/mid December?) but while by the end of the first episode I was into it, this one felt a bit more like the direct-to-DVD sequel I was worried it'd be. Hopefully the final one finishes strong!

Yeah Strider is the org/clan and main one you play as is Strider Hiryu, but there's also Strider Hien who appears in 2 apparently (and now Strider Zeku).

Bigger question is now that Strider is part of the SF universe and Final Fight already was, what's the next Capcom franchise to be added in? Is Ed's Neo Shadaloo also running the new Umbrella? Will we cross examine Interpol agent Chun Li in the next Phoenix Wright game? Will Vega be the fourth Scissor Man? So many possibilities...

Nappa and Captain Ginyu announced for DBFZ (V-Jump scans via http://gematsu.com/2017/10/dragon-ball-fighterz-launches-february-1-japan-adds-nappa-captain-ginyu) along with Feb 1 release date for Japan. Nappa can summon Saibaman as part of his move set, while Ginyu uses the other members of the Ginyu Force in his and also has ability to body swap with opponent character and their HP which sounds neat! Now they just need to hurry up and announce Hercule/Mr Satan.

DLC characters are also out for MvC and Sigma is everything I wanted to be and I spent 5? hours yesterday playing him and still so much more to try out. Counter is fast so some cool stuff there like being able to counter Dr. Strange bolts, and his QCF+KK hyper obscures the screen so I've been doing that into Ultron tag into high/low/crossup and since you can't see anything it's basically a guess, and feels real damn cheap and amazing and damn I love this game. Haven't even looked at BP/MH yet.

They also did stream breakdowns for Strider Zeku on WinnerStaysOn/Capcom Unity, WSO video below. He looks really neat, stance change is much faster than I thought it'd be. I don't know if he's enough to get me back into SFV alone but between him and what S3 brings I'm definitely interested and will give a look.

V-Skill is attack and swaps, but can also do down down and 2 punches to swap without the attack; young version has target combos ending in V-Skill for swaps but doesn't seem like old version can easily. Supposed to be longer video breakdown/stream before his release as well according to TheStreetWriter on Twitter.

Overall good season, for all the complaining about it being all new characters instead of Sagat/Sakura/etc. I think they've all been really neat and great additions to the game that I've even enjoyed playing (some more than others, Ed became my new main while Menat was too complicated for me with Kolin/Abigail falling between). I'd hope for S3 they have at least a few new characters and it's not just 6 returning as that's sort of boring to me, but I feel I'm in the minority on that.

@redhotchilimist: I would've guessed that too, but his young Battle Costume is already basically Strider with different hair so having another like that may be bit overkill? Maybe Ibuki gets one though her swimsuit costume kind of has that look already as well.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle also put out a new trailer announcing Rachel Alucard, Hazama, and Weiss from RWBY. In addition it's now confirmed to be coming to PS4, Steam, and... Switch? Vita versions of BB were pretty good so Switch version will likely be fine as well.
