I live in a small community in northern Canada. There are no homeless people here, but if there were I probably would give them spare change.

I'm far more likely to re-play a shorter game than a long one. Just throwing that out there.

I would just stick to a Desktop for games, and use the Mac for everything else. That's what I do.

That's exactly what I do, it works out great. Plus, with SteamPlay, I'm even able to play many mutli-platform games on my MacBook Air when I feel like it. It's well suited for adventure and puzzle games, stuff like that. I played Walking Dead on it with no issues.

Gaming laptops...mehhhh

Welp, I hemmed and hawed and hemmed and hawed some more...but I eventually decided to take this advice! I ordered a new 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM from Crucial. I figure this will speed up my old ass 2008 MacBook unibody for everyday use, and I will just use my PC desktop (and Xbox 360) for gaming. Although, with Steam offering some Mac games and now GoG jumping on the Mac bandwagon, I may be able to play a few games on my MacBook.

Again, thanks for all the advice!

God dammit! Why did you have to post this? Now I really want to buy it, but my wallet doesn't like the idea.

Shhhh...don't say anything about it! They might hear you and decide to change it, just to troll us.

Is it worth watching both of the Deadly Premonition Endurance Runs? I only watched the Jeff/Vinny half

It is. Ryan was in top shape during the ER.

God yes!! I watched both of them, and they were both amazing. In fact, this past Friday I decided to go back and watch them both again...they are even better the second time through.

BTW, while watching the Brad/Ryan ER, there WILL be times when you'll want to reach through your computer screen grab the controller from Brad and beat hom to death with it. But, that's just part of the charm of a good Endurance Run! ;)

Fuck it! I just pledged $40. I'm working now and I can afford it, plus I would probably just waste it on beer anyway. Fingers crossed!

Oh, BTW, does anyone know what the "White Citizens Card" bonus is? Sounds racist! LOL.
