No i barely play since bf2 came out and its way too much

Mine are:
1.Shawdow Complex
2.Trials HD
3.Geometry Wars 2
4.Bomberman LIVE
5.Castle Crashers

Okay here it goes Starcraft made me a gamer it was the single most influential game on my life.  I am currently 19 years old I started playing the original starcraft when I was in grade 6 I believe with my best friend at the time.  It started just as a single player fling, but it soon blossomed into a full out multiplayer love affair.  Everyday and I mean EVERYDAY I would get home and play for at least 6 hours that's at least.  I never once said to myself your wasting your time, go do something productive go outside, because honestly starcraft was the best game I had ever played and still is.  I kept that way of playing up to half way through grade 9 where did decrease my play time, but not completely.   It still brings a smile to my face when I think about me and my friend joining 7 vs 1 comp stomps and killing all of our teammates as well as the computer, or making elaborate stragies for my goliath rush as my favorite race the terran, but i don't know what I can really say that makes me the biggest starcraft fan all I know is that starcraft is definitley my most fond gaming memory and still a game I play and love to this very day.  It would be amazing if you picked me even though I know the chances are low
 

I have had this game for quite a while now on steam and its been working great, but today I decided to play and its been a while since I have, so I just loaded a skirmish up and everything was ridiculously choppy.  The first thing I did was go back to the main menu and run performance test and it said that my framrate was great.  My next move was was defragging which ended up doing nothing so I don't what the problem is.  I went and played the Dawn of War 2 demo after it was silky smooth so this really really makes no sense to me.  Anyone have an idea of whats going on?

I've been fiending for some new RTS games in my life.  I've decided to get 2 games, I'm for sure going to get Dawn of War 2 with its expansion,and I was originally thinking C&C 4 until I saw the QL on it.  I have just downloaded the demos of Napoleon Total War and supreme Commander 2 so I'll take a look at those, but if you guys have any other suggestions on some RTS games that I should be getting I'm all ears.
